There were more in the model year 2020, which was the first year bringing the Aviator back. Fast forward to 2022 model year, where there still may be issues, but not as many. I have it in my loaded MY21 and have had no issues.I was thinking about getting the Dynamic Suspension...but I just read a post that the salesman told them that it has a lot of issues! I'm wondering if this is true?
I think you meant 2020 and not 2000.There were more in the model year 2000, which was the first year bringing the Aviator back. Fast forward to 2022 model year, where there still may be issues, but not as many. I have it in my loaded MY21 and have had no issues.
I did. Corrected. Thanks!!!I think you meant 2020 and not 2000.

Id get the dynamic I have had both and the dynamic on the new 2022 is amazing. So far no issues with about 6k miles on it. Now saying that I would probably still recommend getting an extended warranty if you plan to keep it for a while just incase as more things can go wrong with air suspension than standard.I was thinking about getting the Dynamic Suspension...but I just read a post that the salesman told them that it has a lot of issues! I’m the one who related what the salesman said. If you look at one of my previous posts in this thread, I said I should have done my own research. Thank you for that post. I've been wondering if it is something I should get on my next (2023?) Aviator given the extra cost. I don't drive a lot but it's nice to get a first-hand opinion.Id get the dynamic I have had both and the dynamic on the new 2022 is amazing. So far no issues with about 6k miles on it. So in my opinion if you have to get the larger rims like I had to on my 2022 I think its necessary to balance out the ride harshness. Also a couple surprising things I like personally. If you turn on auto lowering it will automatically drop the car for easy entry which even on 21s compared to the original 20in rims makes it way easier to get into the vehicle for my short wife. Also it will drop it for easy loading/unloading when opening the trunk with this enabled which is nice.Thank you for that post. I've been wondering if it is something I should get on my next (2023?) Forgot about the tire size. I would like to keep the 20" since I have a set of winter tires. May have to give it more thought Thanks. So in my opinion if you have to get the larger rims like I had to on my 2022 I think its necessary to balance out the ride harshness. For me they only offered the 21s on the GT and no longer offered the 20s so I had to get them either way with or without the dynamic handling package.Forgot about the tire size. I would like to keep the 20" since I have a set of winter tires. May have to give it more thought Thanks.

Actually...the auto lowering that will drop the car for easy entry is the main reason I want to get the Dynamic Suspension package. So it does make it much easier to get in and out of the SUV?! I have knee problems and I'm 5' 4" ...So in my opinion if you have to get the larger rims like I had to on my 2022 I think its necessary to balance out the ride harshness. My wife is 5'2" and she has a much easier time getting into it now than the previous model without. If you can find one to test that would be the best case.Actually...the auto lowering that will drop the car for easy entry is the main reason I want to get the Dynamic Suspension package. Thank you so much...it makes me feel much better. I contacted 2 dealerships in my area...both don't have one for me to test. They told me that vehicles are sold before they arrive...My wife is 5'2" and she has a much easier time getting into it now than the previous model without. I have a 2021 BL and can confirm it is true.I was thinking about getting the Dynamic Suspension...but I just read a post that the salesman told them that it has a lot of issues! I'm wondering if this is true?
I'm thinking Lincoln might have fixed those issues in the 2022 models. Did the dealer fix the dynamic suspension issues in your Aviator?I have a 2021 BL and can confirm it is true.
Heather: No. The problem has been confirmed by a dealer, but not corrected. I believe the system uses fairly complex software called photogrammetry to perform the road look ahead/suspension adjustment and that may be where the problem lies.I'm thinking Lincoln might have fixed those issues in the 2022 models. WOW!! I think you're right...it is most likely a software issue. But they should have updated their software by now! Hi Rjabend what issues have you had with it? So far mine has been fine and I only heard it was an issue on the 2020s.Heather: No. The problem has been confirmed by a dealer, but not corrected. Mine is a 2021. My only issue is that the ride is more harsh than the standard spring suspension and I have the $2400 Dynamic Handling option.Hi Rjabend what issues have you had with it? So far mine has been fine and I only heard it was an issue on the 2020s.
