My 2024 Nautilus has no wifi nor does it have google services

Also , I am totally disappointed after I switched from lincol mkc to new lincoln Nautilus.

Many Basic features like rear ambient on door don't work for my Reserve model which was working on My Reserve MKC in 2017 , it's bit weired all manufacturers are giving this feature on basic model and luxury brand do not have this.

Also rear doors emergency lights on ambient is not present for Reserve model.

I think basically lincoln needs to educate their dealers in GCC to communicate to customers clearly before customer decide to buy.

I can’t download any apps actually, I don’t know how to manage this problem

I managed to install some apps like google map and play store, but cant use them due to no internet connection. Even if i connect the car to my phone hotspot the internet not working.

How to did you install apps please?

If you have android, the Lincoln Play Store is very limited on apps. You can use more apps from phone directly through Android Auto but also seems limited. It has to be a "trusted" app unless in developer mode on Android. I had an app nstalled, then it disappeared, and then using google I learned you had to be in developer mode (on phone) to get the app visible in the car list, I see spotify in Lincoln but cannot see it on AA so have not figured out everything.

What i have figured out is there is a way to install apk on the andriod system making all apps available , but needs a super user to perform the action. When I tried to install apk I get the message unknown apps cannot be install by this user. Next is to figure out how to install unknown apps.

Regarding availability of the Lincoln google Services in GCC , since I have moved to Bahrain , also my bahrain agent confirmed that talks are in progress between government and ford company to open the services as all ford / Lincoln cars are moving towards AAOS and all customers have started to complain.

Just disappointed that there is no clear mentioning about this limitation anywhere and also the dealer themselves did not know until raised.

Also learnt later that lincoln lighting in rear is only limited to black label and the reserve 2 do not get ambient lights on rear doors top.

I feel just cheated.

Have you tried this step while entering developer mode ?

maybe u can try the same thing after entering developer mode and enabling usb debugging

Hello everyone,
Recently, I acquired a Lincoln Nautilus outside of the USA. The digital interface offers only a limited number of settings. Unfortunately, I'm unable to activate it through The Lincoln Way app, and reaching out to Lincoln USA has proven challenging without an account number.
Upon resetting the Digital Experience to factory settings, I notice momentarily the presence of icons for hotspot, SiriusXM, and Rejuvenate. However, they quickly disappear, leaving only a handful of settings and seemingly useless features.

How can I update to the version that influenced my purchasing decision? Every review I've watched on YouTube showcases a different version than the one installed in my car.

I disregarded the engine or power aspects and based my purchase decision solely on the car's technology features, but unfortunately, I didn't receive them as expected.

Update: After doing some research, I discovered this webpage(connectedlincoln). From what I gathered, my country isn't listed as supported. However, I'm confident that the car has the necessary hardware and modem installed.There must be a w ay to activate the features.

I visited Saudi Arabia for a couple of weeks in December and stopped by one of the Lincoln dealerships in Jeddah. CarPlay and Google Maps worked seamlessly on the 48-inch screen and performed well. However, Apple Maps did not function because Apple Maps directions are unavailable in Saudi Arabia. Wi-Fi/hotspot and other connected services are also not available.


The Lincoln website for Saudi Arabia only displays the features permitted there, which is helpful for understanding what is allowed. Interestingly, the Black Label version is referred to as the "Presidential."


Saudi Arabia still does not allow over-the-air (OTA) updates, so all updates must be done at the dealership.

- No Native Map
- Google / Waze Map is not showing up on 48' screen when using apple carplay. I don't have a android device so cannot say for sure if Google Maps/Waze works on it
- No Play Store or ability to install new apps
- No OTA updates, i tried connecting via hotspot, the Wifi connects but no new software updates.

I stay in Dubai, UAE

Anyone have any solutions or information regarding the points above, would appreciate it

Hi, can you please share detailed feedback of the carlinkit device that you are using, I have used such devices in the past for wired <=> wireless carplay connectivity, sad that I need to use such devices in this car as well, however if following works then I might live with it

- Waze/Google Maps works with carlinkit wireless carplay?
- Some carlinkit devices also have android OS Google assistant service and SIM card capabilities for connectivity, have you tested on this device?
- Silly question, but where do you connect this device in the car? There are many USB/Type C slots

There is a WiFi option and I connected my car to it but it doesn’t do anything like it’s useless.
We need one simple software update to access this feature, someone get this to Lincoln please.

Hi , I have been using Andriod and works smooth and opens all apps including Andriod Auto and other andriods related apps.

I am using Andriod 13 Carlinkit TBOX MaX 8GB model and works great.

Sorry I haven't used Apple products and not sure.

For GCC this is best replacement but I don't recommend driving with YouTube and other streaming apps as they are also allowed.
