My 2024 Nautilus has no wifi nor does it have google services

I managed to install some apps like google map and play store, but cant use them due to no internet connection. Even if i connect the car to my phone hotspot the internet not working.

that is great. how did you do that?

After pushing my dealer ,They have come back with the following answers. the committed timeline for the FoMoCo to sign contract with GCC countries and for opening GAS (Google Assisted Services) features for all Lincoln connected Nautilus 24 is expected by early 2025 or mid quarter 2025.

I have recently taken delivery from Lincoln here in the UAE. They told me that there is no plan to open access to Google services.

Very annoying, as I based a lot of my decision on the tech!!!

You may have not read back thru the thread, but these unfortunate owners are from UAE, Saudi Arabia, et al. Lincoln apparently doesn't offer Connected Services in this area. There's another thread discussing this same problem with no resolution either.

Both available in UAE version. Have to use Apple Maps to get them on the 48” display, which is a little annoying.

Seems there is conflicting dealer comments; Vijaykumar13 was told Google available Q1 25, I was told it wouldn’t be made available.

What i have figured out is there is a way to install apk on the andriod system making all apps available , but needs a super user to perform the action. When I tried to install apk I get the message unknown apps cannot be install by this user. Next is to figure out how to install unknown apps.

Regarding availability of the Lincoln google Services in GCC , since I have moved to Bahrain , also my bahrain agent confirmed that talks are in progress between government and ford company to open the services as all ford / Lincoln cars are moving towards AAOS and all customers have started to complain.

Just disappointed that there is no clear mentioning about this limitation anywhere and also the dealer themselves did not know until raised.

Also learnt later that lincoln lighting in rear is only limited to black label and the reserve 2 do not get ambient lights on rear doors top.

I feel just cheated.

So, I checked out the website, and it says if your car's got a modem serial number in the settings, then it's got the hardware. Mine has the serial number for the modem and Wi-Fi, but they seem to be disabled.

I'm just hanging tight, hoping the developer community can come up with ways to switch 'em on. I mean, it's Android-based, so there's gotta be a hack or something to get the Wi-Fi and Google services working.

Saudi is a bit strict. A friend of mine just purchased a new Porsche Cayenne. He was told up front the connected app would not be enabled.

He can use apple carplay and google maps navigation from car play but the porche app and remote services are not available.

I have to fly to Jeddah in a couple weeks. I’m curious about the 2025 availability you mentioned so I’ll stop by a dealer and chat while I’m there.

They could be opening it up as things are progressing rapidly there on allowing location and encryption services. I remember when iMessage on iPhone was banned and wouldn’t work there till a few years ago.

Good to read that the parties are talking, though living in Dubai for almost 15years tells me this will not happen anytime soon.

The apk software stuff is well over my head! So if there is any fix, a step by step instruction will be really appreciated.

Need google maps back, Apple Maps isn’t very good!

Dealer told me earlier today, there are no discussions now or planned for the apps to become available.

This consistent with what I was previously told and contradicts what VJK13 is being told. Lincoln need to step in and inform its customers either way.

Has to be via the same source otherwise they will probably just dismiss. I vote Twitter as I have no other social media
