This should show how much we\'ve talked in just 2 days where we were both very busy, only about maybe 40 minutes together total.

I know she\'s:

got family from New Orleans, her mom still lives there.
She\'s living in Annapolis, Md right now, going to school (I think)
has been dancing for just about forever, and is a prima ballerina at this summer gig, in addition to being a counselor. I think she\'s a teacher in MD at a ballet school there.

we seem to have hit it off, but obviously there wasn\'t a lot of time available. As for places to go on a date... Have you ever heard of Johnson, Vt? Didn\'t think so. It\'s almost definitely smaller than where April lives. College town, but no movies, malls etc. Only one bar, and it sucks. Probably only about 1000 people in the town.

There wasn\'t any hesitation or \"possibly\" answer to getting her contact info, unlike with the girl at school.

As for living in the same state... Yea, that\'s a tough one. BUT, she\'s my age (a plus) and still unattached b/c she\'s also somewhat shy. So a long distance might have a possibility, and I\'m not adverse to driving to MD every once in a while. It\'s only a day away, or one tank of diesel. A hell of a lot closer to Savannah than to south Fl.
Get her A Degas print.. the rehearsal, or the dancers in blue... here is a link. It\'s inexpensive and it\'s something she\'ll like. And if not, it\'s just a picture. :dunno: It shows you listened.
Not in my head... :slap:
:chin: you can\'t water the lawn if you have no lawn......
I\'m kind of pissed at myself.
well, you came to the right place....it seems we\'re all pissed off at ourselves, our jobs, each other or just YOU! feel all better now? :D
I am so sick and freaking tired of morning sickness.
I have 2 sisters, one of which danced in many ballet companies professionally and one that currently teaches. I believe they both have a degas somewhere in their homes!

is \'ballet dancer\' a slang term now for \'stripper\'? :naughty:

Hmm, i\'ve been checking my friends, friends, on facebook with no luck.

Boooooo!

NO! Ballet dancer would be like tights, leotards, toe shoes, ballet slippers. Although my one sister was a show girl in Atlantic City for a spell, she even had her own Billboard sign heading into the city. Of course, that was years ago...

So, I\'ve convinced my friends to throw another \"last party ever\" in hopes that maybe someone knows someone that knows those group of girls.

If not, at least I\'ll be drinking! :)
On that note, what would be a good thing to send to a girl who a guy is interested in, but has only talked with her a few times, and not yet actually dated?

I\'m asking in general for other guys, but specifically b/c the one that I met in Vermont is dancing up there (ballet, etc for a summer program) and I might not be able to fly back up. I\'d like to surprise her with something, but I don\'t want to go overboard.

ideas from the female side?
A plant. Something pretty but not ROSES. Something that will last. Flowers die in a week and she will throw them out and forget them, and possibly you too. Or a small gift basket including things you know she likes or things from her home state.

:eyebrow: I don\'t find anything humorous about it. Mike keeps telling me that morning sickness is a good sign.. but I dont see how that is possible.
