My 2018 Navigator front camera is cloudy. The lens cover is not dirty, and the wiper fluid function works fine. How do you get rid of the cloudy view? Did moisture get in there, and caused some condensation or is it a faulty camera?
Hi mm. There is no way to blind diagnose this over the Internet. So first...Is your 2018 Navigator still within the 4 year/50,000 mile New Car Warranty? If yes, make an appointment for service and demonstrate to them what you see.
Do not just drive your car in, tell them it is cloudy, hand them the keys and leave it to them to check on their own later. Instead, park it in an area where the ambient light will cause cloudiness and show them it is cloudy. This helps avoid the dreaded "Could not duplicate the customer concern" diagnosis. Get the representative to say out loud that they see it is cloudy, then let them diagnose and fix it.
Let us now how you make out and good luck.
