Can’t turn off the auto start/stop feature?

What the hell is that about? $80k car and I don’t get to choose to use a feature that I absolutely hate?

Why won’t they allow you permand toy disable this instead of making me turn it off every time I start the engine. Completely ridiculous.

Anyone have a workaround?

The other option is to simply reprogram it with... drumroll... Forscan.

Buy a $20 modem, download the software on a laptop, plug in and turn the feature off. Forever. Careful, the low risk threshold pundits on here will tell you that will void the entire car's warranty forever. I choose to think differently so I took the risk. It works great

Of course, if you're really worried you can always re-enable the feature before any trips back to the dealer. My dealer has never commented, both with service and warranty repairs.
