My Lincoln
2017 Navigator L
I have a 2024 navigator reserve L and they are still being delivered with BlueCruise 1.0. Does anyone have insight to when or if we will get an upgrade?

Still waiting for an upgrade on the 2022. OTA updates have been a major disappointment on this particular feature.

Just got off the phone with Lincoln Way. They tell me the BC module on my '22 is not upgradable. What a joke. This was touted with Sync 4 and OTA updates that Active Glide, now BC, would be updated over time with all the new features. BS.

Lincoln way told me for my 2024 BC that a update would be coming soon
Told me that then after looking at my VIN, he said oops I was mistaken. I don't know that there are any differences from a '22 to '24 as far as modules, but why would I know that?

Hey, I hope he was wrong and an update is forthcoming.

If this is true i will never own another Lincoln.

From my understanding, they weren't handing out updates to anything not named mach e, but the my25s will get the latest version at launch.

If so, that would be BS. They touted the OTA updates to be able to bring new features to Active Glide, better known as Blue Cruise. It's why I stayed with Lincoln when my 2020 Nav sucked due to Sync 3. Sync 4 promised such great things with OTA updates that have basically fixed the running boards and mirrors. That's it.

Tbh I figured they do this. This isn't the first time they tried to implement a modern feature on an old platform and failed. Also, of they are upgrading the vehicles every three years, why waste an opportunity to sell a newer vehicle by actually upgrading the old one. Not sayin what they did wasn't bs, it def was. If I had went ahead and got a 22 when I tried, if be pissed about now myself.

As nice as I think the 2025 Nav is, it is behind the times. My dad's Mercedes has had coast to coast coast screens for about 2 years or so now. I will go away from Lincoln. Tired of the bait and switch.

I’m such a fan of HUD, and can’t believe the feature is no longer available. Sure the screens are nice but screens AND HUD would be nicer.

I LOVE the 2025 exterior, meh on the interior.

Funny, when we were looking a couple of years ago I didn't care about HUD, now after living with it in our 2020 I would be very hesitant to buy a vehicle w/o it. We got a BMW X5 for my wife recently and HUD was definitely on the must have list. All about what you get used too, hate to hear Lincoln deleted it.

Given the way the screen is situated and how the dash is lowered on 2025s it'll basically sit almost where a HUD would eyeline wise anyhow. I'm guessing this leads to lower cost replacement for the windshield as well.

My 2024 Navigator game with version 1.0. After some nasty hair pulling, and about 10 gallons of misinformation from Lincoln, I’m picking up the puppy this morning from my dealership with version 1.3 installed. From my perspective, the major upgrade will be the added distance. It will put between my vehicle and the vehicle in the next lane. 1.0 hugs the lane stripe and puts the Navigator close enough that you could put fingerprints on the vehicle you’re passing. My wife doesn’t appreciate it when I suggest that she do that, especially if she is shrinking in fear at the time.
Secondly, assisted lane change should be cool, and thirdly, easing off cruise control when the road bends, like a human would do, is a great feature. Have experienced that on loaner vehicles. Question: I would be interested in knowing if there is a future upgrade to 1.4 or 1.5 for my vehicle, or will 1.3 be the end of the road. I know, give someone an inch and they want a mile.

I drove 11 hours with Blue Cruise active 90% of the time. It performed flawlessly!!

How did you confirm your current version number? I’m curious to see if you actually receive assisted lane change.

So did it turn out this is too big of an update to install over the air? Did you have to go tot the dealer to have it installed?

Was the end result worth the hair pulling and misinformation?
