Accessories you bought for your Corsair Thread

I used an exacto knife but a Drexel would work well. I just used a pencil to trace the little I needed to remove. Very easy.
Thanks again, always nice to hear that others had success in using products sold as aftermarket.

Two exterior items thay I feel are well worth it:
1) Rear bumper guard https://a.co/d/hEijGTr
2) Splash guards/mud flaps https://a.co/d/5xYEMAL
I've bought 2 sets of each because I have 2 '22 Corsairs. The front mud flaps need to be cut slightly to allow for the running board molding on the Reserve and GT. The Standard doesn't require the small cut.
just a question, just ordered the same mud flaps but how do you get the existing plastic screws out of the fender wells to reuse?

Just screwed the new screws into the fender edges and the plastic (it will be obvious when you go to do it).

Just some more questions. So you just leave the existing plastic plugs in the fender wells and what part are you talking about needing trimmed on the front mud flaps? Thanks for answering my dump questions.

Yes I just left the plastic clips in place. The area requiring trimming is where the back of the mud guard touches the rocker panel. The profile of the wheel well varies depending on the trim level, consequently the area needs to be sculpted to match. It only applies to the front wheel wells and it is very little ro cut it will make sense when you go to do it.

Thanks so much for your help with this.

Has anyone been able to purchase a cupholder cover??? Not the trim , but a removable cover that will enhance the console instead of two open holes infrequently used. i

Randyb404, I just installed the same mud flaps on my 2023 Corsair GT that Sharbotcom recommended (thanks for that recommendation Sharbotcom). For my install no trimming whatsoever was needed. It fit perfectly around the rocker panels. Maybe they modified them for this year???
I took out the black plastic retaining clips (center piece) by carefully placing a small flathead screwdriver in the notch in the collar and working it out, they were easy. Then, I carefully removed the collar too. After matching the proper flap to the wheel (they're labeled) I pushed in the collar, then the clip. All went great except for two areas on the front flaps. The 1st area that didn't work well was there is a section where you slide the supplied black clip between the indents of the front flap and clip it to the wheel well. That would have worked fine except Lincoln has a support piece that doesn't allow you to push the black clip all the way home. I was concerned that the clip would work its way out so instead I used one of the supplied scews and the silver retaining clip that was provided. The second area needing attention was that for more support I also drilled an extra screw and retainer from the bottom of the flap into the rocker panel. Their entire rocker panel is now attached more solidly than Lincoln originally did in their manufacturing process! For the rear flaps I again removed and reused all the plastic retainers from Lincoln and again drilled a mud flap supplied screw and retainer into the bottom of the flap into the rocker panel. I mostly did this extra support because I live in a snow area and assume the flap will get extra heavy with snow accumulation. Be aware, one rear flap (I think it was the left rear) does not need to be anchored into the rocker panel as there is a screw you need to remove from the panel and reuse that to secure that flap to the rocker panel. It should be evident when you see the configuration. On this flap I made the mistake of securing all all the plastic clips and when I physically moved to screw the bottom of the flap, just like I did the other 3, I saw that there was the bolt to remove and secure the flap to the rocker. I had to again remove the clips from Lincoln and start all over.
Hopefully this is clear. It's like trying to write someone on how to tie a shoe lace. Better visual than written 😉. Any questions, ask away & Good Luck!

P.S. I don't like the material Lincoln used for the wheel wells. It's like a cheap felt-like material and very flimsy. I notice it's not very secure in certain areas either. I like things to be solidly installed and these are far from that. Not very confident this material will hold up well with our Winters.

Thanks for all the info, had my son-in-law put them on. He didn't have to cut anything on the front flaps but did add an extra screw for better support. on the back put a screw under the flap on the drivers side but the passenger side had nothing so he added a screw there. The rest he just popped out the existing plugs and put in the screws that came with them. All seems good. the look nice and seem strong. Will find out when we have the first big snow fall!!!!

Could you ask your son-in-law where he put the silver clips vs the 2 black clips? I'm not sure on where to put them - there are 4 silver and only 2 black. I appreciate your help!!

If you notice the front flaps have two "ridges" toward the top...image a large spaced = sign 3/4 of the way up on the flap, on the inside. The black clips slide between those two lines and include the edge of the body behind the flaps so the flap is "attached" to the body too. However, on my Corsair GT I couldn't slide the black clip all the way home, Lincoln has a screw or some type of fastener in the way. For that reason I used one of the supplied screws and silver retaining clip and drove them into the center of that = sign. If this isn't clear let me know and I'll take a picture.

He used two clips for the extra screws in the front. The black ones in the slots for the front flaps.

This has potential. Wife got it for me on Amazon. Threw it on real quick to try it. Need to put it in with better tape than provided and get the angle just right and maybe like some kind of black cover to cover the little projector. You don’t see it unless you open the door because I have it sitting next to the seat. A little magnet on the sill turns it on and off when opened or closed. If you click on the picture the projection is pretty sharp and I like the blue in it

The drop stop is soft material and moves back and forth with the seat. It rubs the console leather and since it’s so soft I don’t worry it will wear it out. Can’t tell you how many times stuff drops there at the most inconvenient times
LOL … I never heard of this accessory before but it sounds perfect. I lost two pairs of glasses this past week since I got my new car and a few days ago it dawned on me to check the crevice between the seat and center console. Sure enough after much investigation of that space with a flashlight and strong reading glasses I saw them both! It took me an additional 5 minutes to figure out how in the heck to get them outta there. My god … talk about point of no return … if you want to hide gold, that is a perfect spot.

Curious if you still like it and not hurting the leather at all? I have the easy in/out option turned on so the seats are always moving forward/back after each car ride. Thanks.

They are amazing lol. Every time I drop something I’m like oh crap then I look and it’s sitting right on top of them. I would get that brand also. Many knock offs but those are good and not hurting anything.

I bought that brand and installed them today. Love it! Can’t even notice they are there … really just blends in. What a great recommendation … thank you! No more lost glasses (knock on wood) 🙃 I put the included credit card flashlight in the center console card holder thingy, and the slide free pad on top of that very awkward space just north of the wireless charger compartment (it seems like such a waste of space there and everything slides around if you do put stuff on top). I just hope it doesn’t leave any kind of mark/residue on that tray area cause it’s kinda of a weird material

Surprised I missed this product years back when it came out … I love ‘As Seen on TV’ stuff

Don’t feel bad. It took me years of stuff falling in there and many cut hands before I got them lol. They should sell branded ones so that let’s say the part that faces up has the Lincoln logo or whatever manufacturer you want.

Another handy accessory I bought for my car since learning about it from a physical therapist:

It really works if you need something to hold onto to get in/out of the car (e.g. you broke your ankle, had foot surgery, etc. … or just very elderly and need that extra thing to grab). Just store it in your door cubby, and it’s pretty cheap. It can also break glass if you find yourself underwater someday 💧 💦
