As I have said, they build a great vehicle both aesthetically and mechanically. Love the engine on my '22, same engine of course.Everyone has an issue that is very important to them. For me the twin turbo V6 is the game changer. A lot of horsepower when you need it, but I just completed a 700 mile trip (not on freeways) with a lot of elevation changes and ended up with 22 mpg on a new engine and a 6,000 pound vehicle. Passing cars on a two lane highway was very easy. The GM engine has longevity problems and will not come close to the mileage, with less horsepower. Extremely happy with the power train, still learning all the electronics.
You can raise the floor to be flat. I saw it mentioned on a review.Just got my ‘25 Navigator Jet Appearance … as a person that purchased this $100k SUV for my 3 Golden Retrievers, I made a huge mistake….
There is a hump from the 2nd to 3rd row … it’s not flat despite what Ford says… and getting into the car is horribly small using the passenger doors … especially compared to the Escalade where the 2nd row goes and folds forward.
i have always been a Ford person thru and thru, but they whiffed on this one and I was dumb enough to believe a Navi can compate with an Escalade. It can’t…
Beyond bummed and now will look to mitigate my loss by dumping it and going to a Caddy…. my wife’s 23 Caddy is way better than this 25 Navi in about every category except the transmission… as they are about the same.
Anyone in the market for a 25 Navi, all Black? I will give you a deal![]()

Unfortunately, my Navigator Jet Appearance does not go "flat" from splitgate to the third row. It's still several inches lower than the folded down back of the 3rd row, even with the cargo management "lid" sitting on top of it.
Maybe the Black Label is different?
My 3 golden retrievers find no comfort in the uneven-ness of trying to lay on top of the folded 3rd row, that drops down several inches to the cargo floor.
If you were to lay a sheet of plywood from the back of the vehicle where the gate comes down, it will angle upward over the 3rd row folded seat "hump" ..
Goofy thing is, the 3rd row folded seat "hump", sticks up above not only the cargo floor, but also the 2nd row when folded flat....
Kind of acts like a "teeter totter" in a way with the 3rd row folded seat hump.![]()
Didn't get to drive the navigator today. It sold over the weekend and sales guy told me today. Anyway, after driving my dads escalade for a couple of days, I can honestly say the expeditions i drove felt better on the ride in both ride and handling. The escalade is smooth, especially on smooth roads, but it can feel a tad harsh on some pavement seams. The expedition seemed to have dle that stuff a bit better. Maybe I need to drive an expedition more, but the expedition rides super smooth now. Note - my dads escalade does not have the air ride mrc combo. I am aware the air suspension will feel better, but I haven't driven one at all.
My wife's 24 Escalade has the air suspension and it is a much smoother ride than my 25 Navi. That doesn't bother me so much tbh...
However, the one thing that I found really alarming to me is, I can feel the bumps in the road through the steering column on the 25 Navi ... and while driving the 24 Escalade, I can not. I drive the same way to work every day, so when I first felt the column shake, I was really taken back by it.
I'm guessing there's a significant difference in how each of the steering systems were made and installed, for it to be that different. Feeling bumps through the steering column on a $100k vehicle is disappointing. My old 2019 Explorer didn't have that issue... so, not sure why it's so different now... but it is.
I have a Reserve L and my floor is flat, when the 3rd row is folded, all the way to the 2nd row seats.Thank you for the link.

Lincoln Navigator has the "rectangular" wheel. I have gotten used to it and like it. Does not get in the way of the view of the dash.Nice pics of the 25. Looks like lincoln stuck with a round steering wheel. If so kudos to them.
Mi drove a 25 expedition max with a rectangular one. Wert weird and a pain to drive with.
Bummer, I guess you should have gotten the L.I have the short base and maybe that’s why mine can not lay flat (0°) from the rear cargo over the 3rd row and over the 2nd. The actuator covers over the 3rd row “hump upward” making it uneven…. even with the rubber backing stuff removed.
