2025 Navigator

No, but the window was down for interior viewing.

Most of you who have ordered one should have a VIN assigned to it by now. Almost all of mine do. If not than soon. And yes usually soon after they get a vin they...get built and shipped. I imagine some 'fencing' going on which will allow them to park them and make sure things are right. But if it's anything like the Nautilus launch the dealers and consumers will be the beta testers and discover all the nice issues they've created for us.

So still seems like mid to late spring we will see them hopefully.

I will let everyone know we just came back to work from a two week Christmas/ New Years break.
We also just had a big winter storm come thru that is making it difficult to get parts in. So we are running about 3 weeks behind schedule at the moment but once things get back on track they will bump production up to around 11 - 11.5 hours per shift to make up for that lost time.
None of this is anything out of the normal though.
I'm just letting you know what's going on the production side of things and wanted everyone to know that I have no knowledge of when Ford/Lincoln will actually release the Navigator or Expedition to dealers.
I'm just an hourly employee who has worked in the Paint Shop for 27 years at this plant.

@Rinsky thanks for all the insight. The fact that they are building them right now is solid news. Whether they sit at the plant or not is another story, but atleast they are being produced now.

I’m not tracking what you mean.

If I'm reading it right, the escalade has a surround view feature where it has a 3d model, and you can spin it around and choose the camera views you want it to focus on.

That’s exactly it like let’s say your coming up to a curb you can zoom in on the front or rear tire on that side and get it almost to the edge without touching the rim. Someone said that like Cadillac and Mercedes lincoln adopted this …

I called my dealer and he said no we don’t have a VIN I also called lincoln they show the order in and that’s it. My dealer thinks it could be the options I got ?!! I dunno it’s ok as long as I don’t fall through the cracks lol

I have to watch what photo are taken of the Trucks & Suvs and I obviously can't share anything from inside the plant.
However here are a few photos of the Navigators from just a minute ago sitting outside. The first one is just a test vehicle but the others are not.

Ima be honest, the nav is the best looking suv produced currently. They show so well. If lincoln added v8 and hybrid options and air suspension, it would actually do damage to escalades sales dominance.

My wife did notice something. None of the navs in promo media had a black spoiler, but on the bl special edition pkg, the whole roof is black, not just the spoiler. Was this model an error build? If so, well take it at a discounted price 🤣

I'm not 100% positive but I think the black spoiler and other blacked out trim pieces are on a Reserve with the Jet Appearance Package. Getting the Black Label Special Edition Package or the Black Label Special Edition (Yes they are two separate packages) is the only way to get the whole roof painted black on the Navigator

The Black Label Special Edition Package comes with
  • 24-inch High-Gloss Ebony Wheel with 24” All-Season BSW Tire – P285/40R24
  • Black Painted Roof
  • Black Beltline Molding
  • Front Bumper Fascia
  • Grille – Unique Lincoln Grille Pillar Black Surround with Black Mesh Insert
  • Roof Rails – Painted Black
  • Black Accent Badge

The Black Label Special Edition
Comes with.
  • Roof Rails – Painted Black
  • Black Painted Roof
  • Black Beltline Molding

I was thinking jet pkg, but copper isn't available on any reserve trim. My wife and I really love the copper with black accents.

That's interesting and I will have to look into that. I did not know the copper paint was not available on the Reserve Trims.
When they come through the paint booth it doesn't really tell us the Trim level of that vehicle. Now we obviously know the Black Label Trim package only because of the painted black roof. Other than that there is no way to tell because it's just an empty Navigator shell.

@Rinsky do you paint the roof black in the paint booth? I thought somewhere someone told me they sent that off to Penske for black roofs.

All the paint work is done here at the plant.
Just to give you an idea of what this plant produces.
The Kentucky Truck Plant is a massive Assembly Plant and I'm almost positive it's still the largest Automotive Assembly Plant in North America.
We run production 7 days a week making around 750 Vehicles a shift with two shifts running per day except on Saturday & Sundays where we only run one shift per day.
That's around 7500 vehicles Monday thru Friday and 1500 for Saturday & Sunday combined for a total of around 9000 Vehicles a week.
Of course the Ford F-Series Super Duty Trucks makeup the vast majority of those numbers and the order bank for the Super Duty truck will very rarely ever fall under 150 thousand every month.
This is Fords #1 Assembly Plant in the world and Ford continues to invest billions of dollars here making sure this plant is up to date and always running. We have Two separate paint shops one for just Expeditions & Navigators and one just for Super Dutys. We also have our own stamping facility on site.
If you ever get the chance to visit or take a tour of the Kentucky Truck plant don't turn it down because you won't be disappointed.

They are not Navigators being sold in North America.
Countries like China get different packages that are not available for sale anywhere else.

Hmm that makes since. I saw a video on YouTube od the Chinese spec 2025 nav presidential, and it looks even more lavish. It has some of the items that were in the concept photos like throw pillows and suede console arm rests.
