2025 Navigator

The option packages are disappointing. I want to get the Jet Appearance Package, but you can’t option it with the 30 way seats or rear entertainment. You have to get the Black Label for these options. But you can’t option a Black Label with with the pass through rear seats. And you can’t get the Black Label with the Jet Appearance options. They have the Black Label Special edition, but you can’t get the black exterior paint. At least they made the towing package a reasonable amount.

I was almost set with getting a nav, but the order guide confirmed my fears. How lincoln took away the features from the previous gen, and how they are structuring some features with many desirable features only being available on bl (and lack thereof), im very hesitant now. At first, i thought the value proposition was high against its competitors and the expedition, but now, I don't feel the same. Hurts because we adore the looks in and out.

I agree with you. I preferred the Reserve with many options added over BL as I liked did not have a BL theme I liked. For me I also find the following annoying:

1. No option for 2nd row captains without center console
2. Removal of HUD.
3. Why no advancement of digital rear view mirror?
4. No air suspension options or really anything new to improve ride quality

Same. I do think the ride quality will be vastly improved, but I agree that no air suspension option in this class was a huge mistake. I'm also upset they didn't add a red hue for the exterior on any trim. Plus, they locked the jet pkg with blk interior, why can I not have another interior color with the jet pkg.

What leads you to believe the ride quality will improve...genuine question. The exterior, which I love, underwent a nip/tuck, the inside underwent a massive tech overhaul, but my guess is that the mechanical bones of the vehicle remains the same.

For the most part, every new iteration of these vehicles rides better than the previous version so it's safe to assume ford massaged the ride some. Ford engineers have also stated they made modifications to the suspension both front and rear for towing and ride improvements. I trust that Ford would not be confident enought to put these vehicles out knowing every competitor has air suspension and let them drive like shit.

Makes sense and I hope you're right. FWIW, My 24 BL rides very comfy...the road has to become extremely uneven for me to have a WTF moment regarding the quality of ride. Otherwise, smooth sailing.

I am suspect that the 25 Navigator will ride better ... and worry about how choppy the 24" rims will be without the benefit of an air suspension.

Anyone know if the 2nd row power seats will have the same massage function as the front? 24 the 2nd row massagers were just the old air bladders that were up front on the pre-22 models.

I think it will ride acceptable on the 24s, but not great. No worse than what it is now. With the 22s, marginally better, comparable to its competition now, but not excelling over anything considering lincolns mantra of smooth sailing.

As for the 2nd row seats, only the black label will receive the massaging 2nd row seats, and it's the only seat option available for that trim. The optional power seats for the reserve trim do not have massage function according to the order guide.

Thank you. I already find the ride choppy around town on 22s but good on highway.

I understand about the massage seats only being on the Black Label but just wondering if they’ll be like the front seats or like currently, where the 2nd row is just more of an air bladder.

Yeah, I get that ... but just wondering if the 2nd row will be the more intense massage like the front seats or like the rear seats prior to refresh that are more just air bladders.

Oops. Lincoln never said what the massagers are capable of doing. I guess noone will know until they are released.

I wonDer if the us nav will get the same touches as the Chinese version. This one has the throw pillows that were in the concept art.

Has some groovy music with it as well! :)
Placed my order a few weeks ago and am hoping to hear from them soon on a production start and delivery timeline.
Last I saw, January 6, 2025 was the start up time for the 2025 Expeditions... so, I'm guessing they will start around that same time and hopefully be delivering them sometime before April.
