Just went to Fair Oaks and sat in a 2025 for about 30 minutes. Very nice, but I was disappointed in the large screen in that it is limited on what can be displayed IMO. I don't see an issue with the smaller screen and lack of physical buttons. A small learning curve, no big deal.
As an aside, the engine is identical to my '22 engine. I have no issue with that, either, because I think it is a great engine. I bring it up because the 2025 purportedly is built with the latest and greatest version of Blue Cruise while my '22 is still on version 1.0. I looked at both engines. Unless someone can't point me to something specific hardware wise, I am even more convinced there is no reason to be stuck on BC 1.0.
It is a beautiful vehicle. But, it appears on a regular Black Label, there are no real distinct features that make it stand out as a Black Label on the exterior like mine and my previous 2020 BL. The Black Label owner benefits aren't really that great anymore IMO to pay that much extra unless the overall interior is much nicer than the Reserve, as in previous years. They only had the one Black Label, so I couldn't compare.
I guess I was sort of underwhelmed, unfortunately. Not sure how I feel about getting one. We'll see.
