I’ve had the 2025 Navigator since 4/26 and here are some of the issues I’ve had and are still having.
I see some have had issues with the A/C I have not!
Massage seats- small round shortcut button located on the drivers seat works maybe 1 out of 10 times. To make it work I have to press the up, down, left or right button once to engage the infotainment center and then press the center button to engage the massage seats. Not big deal but still slightly disappointing.
Pre-Collision Assist not available, went to dealer and they replaced the cruise control module and didn’t resolve the issues, week later the Lincoln engineer team said replace the bracket. Yes bracket and it seemed to fix the issues, its has since then popped on and off twice but has remained on, so time will tell if this is the long term fix.
Phone As A Key- works intermittently at best at least for me, sometimes it recognizes my iPhone 16 and sometimes it doesn’t. Remote start from the app hasn't worked twice now, no matter what I do. I’ve deleted the phone and profile several times with the same issues. I’m guessing ford/lincoln just don’t have this perfected yet like other brands.
I’ve owned a 2022 BMW X5 and currently have 2025 Genesis GV80 and both have no issues with digital key.
Again slightly frustrating but still nice not having to carry around the fob.
No sound or volume- happened twice now, roughly a week apart. I drive this vehicle numerous times each day. I would get into the vehicle to run errands or whatever and the infotainment center shows everything correctly FM, AM, Sirius XM etc but no sound, I switched between sources and turned volume up, down and off still nothing, tried making call through Bluetooth and still no sound, When making a call I had to switch to speaker on iphone to have conversation as it wouldn’t connect through apple car play like normal and play through the speakers. I turned vehicle off and on still nothing. It seems to fix itself after sitting an hour or so. Next time I’m going to hold down the volume knob as I believe I saw somewhere in the forums that is supposed to reset the system???
However with some of these issues I’m experiencing, I will say that this is a pretty great vehicle and I enjoy getting in and driving it each time.
Hi new here. Took delivery of a 25 Nav BL and it’s been nothing but a headache. Heavy tire vibration at 75-80mph. I have 22s. Stalked the Expy forum had the dealer force balance the tires on 7/3 I took delivery on 7/2. While they forced balanced the tires they gouged the crap out of the door to the primer. Dealer slapped white out and called it good. On a 120k 2 day old vehicle I find this unacceptable.
Now I’m having problems with the outboard passenger 2nd row seat. Displays “ return seat to original position” I hit return you can hear the seat attempting to return to place and then I get a new message that states “ seat cannot lock do not use” I bought this car for our family and now I don’t feel comfortable having anyone ride in that seat. I took it in for service on 7/24 for the vibration still being present and the seat issue and to address the crappy paint job on the door. Concierge has been amazing my dealer not so much. After a bunch of back and forth and concierge escalating they agreed to paint the door properly. 3 hours after leaving the dealer on 8/1 ( they claimed repairs were completed on the 2nd row seat and it checked out) the same error message popped up.
I am leaving for Missouri and I am having to not use this seat with my family. This is so frustrating. I am scheduled for 8/13 to allow the dealer another opportunity to repair the door and the seat if that doesn’t work out I’m initiating a buy back. I haven’t even made the first payment.
I’m not have seat issues but we are having the same wheel issues. I was hoping it was associated with the 24’s. Looks like that’s not the case. I’m going to bring it up when it goes in for service.Hi new here. Took delivery of a 25 Nav BL and it’s been nothing but a headache. Heavy tire vibration at 75-80mph. I have 22s. Here’s the other message that displays. When I took it back to the shop on 8/13 they had it for 5 days over the vibration.8/19 they call to say she’s all good. I take it onto the hwy after they claimed they had repaired it. Vibration is all over the place. Not just at the tires. They also forgot to address the seat. They keep her for more time. They claimed it was the battery that triggered the seat issues it was reading low. They replaced the battery and come to find out during those first 5 days they had my car the tech only forced balanced 2 of the 4 tires!!! Like dude just verify all 4!!
I’m over the whole damn thing. I got my car back on 8/25 only to have the stupid seat cannot lock and would you like to return second row seat to position message pop up 3 days later. the vibration is still there but more prominent in the passenger rear. Concierge called last night and I let them know I’m engaging counsel and I’ll be taking it back to the dealer for service on Monday next week. I bought this vehicle because it was supposed to make my life easier. It’s only made it more stressful.
Honestly this was ford/linc #25 for me and my first expedition/nav. And next to my house the most expensive thing I have ever purchased.Trade for an expedition...not too many if any complaints or issues over there.

the treatment from Lincoln after buying their most expensive vehicle on the lot is enough to run me off for good. Started driving fords on our ranch when I was 13, all I’ve ever known, but I’d rather lemon this thing out, take my mini monthly mortgage payment money and go buy gold or something that will bring me more joy than this thing has.
We bought our teenager a 24 Bronco sport 2 weeks after we bought my Nav. I park the linc loaners and have been driving the bejesus out of the Bronc. I’ll gladly take my money back from this nav and pay off his bronc and call it a day. It just really sucks. I bought the nav for road trips and blue cruise. Nothing about that bronco is good for roadtrips for more than 4 hours. lol.
Looked at both, what pushed me to Nav was the center console in the 2nd row and 2nd row plush massage seats. (I got diagnosed with something similar to ALS not as aggressive) I accepted that my ability to drive eventually will dwindle and the driving would be accomplished by the kid and his dad (both tower over me 6’1 and 6’5) resigning me to the second row. I wanna feel like a queen in comfort so honestly that was the only difference I couldn’t get those options in the Expy. Tons of regret now tho lol. I miss my ‘25 explorer St.Yea that would be annoying, car payments are like mortgage payments now. When we were looking, my wife and I both agreed, as much as we liked the new nav, the expy was a way better value for same driving characteristics.
Super disappointing on this… my 25 Navi arrived with $1500 damage in the paint and running board…
In addition, I continue to experience various random issues that the dealer can not recreate once in the shop…. with the intermittent driver’s seat cooling fan only working when it wants to.
Another is the intermittent and changing vehicle chimes for start up, door(s) open, etc.
I have began taking videos and pics of stuff messing up when I can and it’s safe to do so.
Sadly, even with video proof, I still have the dealer with they “what do you want me to do about it” attitude…
Of note, I am 90 miles from the closest Lincoln Dealer, so I have to use the local Ford dealer on this all…. which shouldn’t be a problem…
Ford continues to disappoint me on how they treat owners of $100k + SUVs … and even if this were an Escape, I still would be disappointed with the poor quality and poor quality service.
Just had my Navi in for the 6th trip to the dealer and now I am going to get a 7th …once all the parts come in.
Took it in to replace the sporadically working yet very loud driver seat fan, but when they got into it more, found the wiring harness smashed near the pins which is likely the cause of the failing seat.
Unfortunately, they cant get a replacement harness for a few weeks.
Even sadder, I asked them to check the wheel balance cuz of the shudder I get at highway speeds and they found both front bearings leaking and the passenger side is likely to get a whole new assembly there… after parts come in.
6 dealer trips in the first 5 months and all with under 2500 miles.
I am guessing it’s not enuff for alaw claim, but it may be time to start documenting how bad it is.. especially since I dont have a Lincoln dealer within 90 miles of me, so I am dealing with Ford which has no perks like a loaner, etc
Hi chadwx. Sorry to hear about your issues. Call and speak with Lincoln Concierge about the issues you are having, the lack of a convenient Lincoln Dealership, and the lack of an available Complimentary Loaner from the convenient Ford Dealership.
See what they may offer to do to help, or as compensation. Politely ask for compensation if necessary.
In the meantime, research the Lemon Law regulations in your state, so you know what to do if the issues become too much to deal with or go unresolved.
Keep us updated and good luck.
Hi chadwx. That is why you should take advantage of the Lincoln Concierge service. Will do and let everyone know. It's not been the experience I wanted it to be buying my first Lincoln ... I've only owned Ford for 25 years and have never had the issues with any of my vehicles like I have with Ford's flagship ... sad.
Same here. Definitely reach out to concierge see if they can do anything about you being out of your vehicle. It’s so disappointing that you’re in this position. I’m right there with you. I’ll be taking mine back in after my trip to OK. Here’s to a 1400 mile trip with vibration that feels more like the ride of a military cargo plane than that of Lincoln’s finest. Will do and let everyone know.
