A fair number of people have been saying positive things about sw improvement after receiving the new major update (installed by the dealer instead of OTA). It is nowhere near perfect, but apparently they're making good progress.
If you have a hybrid, they should be getting close on the injector problem fix, but I'd wait until it's actually been done on some of the hybrids, then a '24 hybrid should be safe to buy.
Alternately, you could order a '25, though unlikely to actually get it until late this year or early next year. '25 order books are open now, with dealer builds (ones that go to their showrooms) supposed to start in July, and custom buyer orders start build in August. After build there's the logistics/transport handful of months until something coming off the line actually gets delivered to a US dealer (it sounds like that may be only 3 - 4 months now, though I would budget 5 months in case there's any slip, plus orders already placed by others will likely get built before yours).
I'm personally expecting to go with a '25. I want the hybrid, would just as soon get one where the engine is properly built right from the start. There's a bit of a price increase in '25 (about 4% for the configuration I'm interested in), I'll lose front seats being ventilated in the Premiere 1 version that really interests me, but overall it simply is looking cleaner to go with the new model year.
(That said I could still see going with an injector-fixed '24 if I run across any nice incentives on it
