I would be happier if they put the GC at Terminal 6 and offload it whenever they open vice stay anchored out and risk being skipped.

One thing just occurred to me about this. This ship incurs port charges for the amount of time that it sits at the dock. The Glovis Chorus will not get near the dock until they are ready to unload. If you look at it's current status, it says Waiting OPL (outside port limits).

I don't know why I even look anymore. I'll get at least 3-4 emails at every turn of the ship.

When GC diverted from Portland, the next day I signed up for a 7-day trial of the Pro package on marinetraffic.com. I thought I would uber track everything until it finally arrived. But no need!

At least I can cancel Saturday after we confirm that it actually makes it to the dock.

Unfortunately, we will only know when a vehicle owner on that ship shows us a VINView track of their vehicle after it leaves Shanghai.

We have an estimated timeline, which would have had it already gone, and we have clues in the Vehicle Order Status and the routes of the ships that pass through Shanghai. But every ship to Portland has gone to other ports first, and never the same ones. So we're really guessing until we have that fingerprint VINView track.

If your vehicle has shipped after 12/19 to the U.S., then you need to check with your dealer. If it hasn't shipped yet, then you'll just have to wait for that to happen (and typically a week or two afterward until the ship departs).
