One thing just occurred to me about this. This ship incurs port charges for the amount of time that it sits at the dock. The Glovis Chorus will not get near the dock until they are ready to unload. If you look at it's current status, it says Waiting OPL (outside port limits).I would be happier if they put the GC at Terminal 6 and offload it whenever they open vice stay anchored out and risk being skipped.
That is excellent digging @agogley. It all fits too, as GC is at the Kalama Harbor. I guess we'll know in two hours.I found this...https://colrip.com/dispatch-info/dispatch-status/

And I’ve been looking over the site more and B2 refers to an anchor buoy. That is excellent digging @agogley. It all fits too, as GC is at the Kalama Harbor. I guess we'll know in two hours.![]()

I don't know why I even look anymore. I'll get at least 3-4 emails at every turn of the ship.I’m at the point it’s faster to check the status here than look at the real time map of the ship.
You are the one that does all the deep research, so take a bow…I’m at the point it’s faster to check the status here than look at the real time map of the ship.
I was tempted to see if I could find the SAT phone for the bridge of the GC.I don't know why I even look anymore. I'll get at least 3-4 emails at every turn of the ship.
When GC diverted from Portland, the next day I signed up for a 7-day trial of the Pro package on marinetraffic.com. I thought I would uber track everything until it finally arrived. But no need!
At least I can cancel Saturday after we confirm that it actually makes it to the dock.
It is, but it didn't stop in Shanghai this time. Not sure if I am reading it right but it looks like the Platinum Ray is due into Portland on January 29th.
So we still don't know when the next ship leaves? It is, but it didn't stop in Shanghai this time.
Unfortunately, we will only know when a vehicle owner on that ship shows us a VINView track of their vehicle after it leaves Shanghai. So we still don't know when the next ship leaves?
