2024 delivery schedule

South Florida dealer here. We got 6 in yesterday. Couple black labels and the rest nice reserves. Your dealers should be getting them or already did
FB group has reports all over the U.S. of vehicles coming in. The hybrids were on later shipments, though.

This may not be worth posting, in that only a couple of days ago we saw the ETA for Glovis Chorus change dramatically during the day, both back and forth — but I have to warn y'all that it looks like it'll be more of the same. I just saw the ETA slip to 1/19 14:07 LT. It'll probably go back and forth. Let's see what it is tomorrow morning.

This is likely related to the continued congestion at Portland. As before, I won't bother to provide frequent updates of the schedule changes unless it's significant.

Meanwhile, we can all wonder where @TimCooper's vehicle is? 😏
For those who are anxious, everything looks to be on track for Glovis Chorus. It's ETA did not vary by more than about 3 hours overnight and is currently scheduled for 19:16 PT later today. The weather looks really good. No clouds, minor winds and swells, cool but not frigid. The port is a little busy, but no RoRo carriers in port at the moment with berth 601 (Ford's) open right now. I see one other RoRo ship headed to Portland with an arrival time just ahead of GC (Helios Ray). I do not know if they'll be competing for space.

importinfo.com without a paid account you only get a few searches per day so use them wisely or have multiple IPs.

Been looking around the site for over an hour and am unable to figure it out. But thanks anyway.

Update on Canadian orders: just received this image of vinview. It looks like my order is on the move…. I still can’t figure out what ship it’s in though. This is all I received so far today but I asked for an update on the ETA to dealer. Any thoughts on what ship is headed to Can We?
Tim.

Grand Vision is the only ship that departed from Shanghai recently.

I had missed that one thinking it was arriving to soon to New Westminster BC. Thank you very much. Looks to be a non stop affair Shanghai to Canada!!

Grand Vision has the right arc, but it's past the Aleutians already. Would VINView be that far behind? RCC Amsterdam is a possibility, but the arc seems low and it's headed to Mexico.

@TimCooper, the last two events on the page appear to have forward dates of 01/24 and 02/06, although I could be wrong. Do you know what those two events were?

Hi Swindler! I have attached a clear photo of the events list from map. I’m still confused by the dates stated. Grand Vision was a good bet but seems to be arriving too early. Back to holding my breath!! Sorry about the quality of image. I may have stepped on it too hard

Sorry. I did not have enough info. It looks like ETA is 2/5 on vinview?

There are two dates on the events page arriving. 1/24 and 2/05. Confused!!!

Also weird is that line jutting out into the Pacific for tracking history. VINView doesn't show history not involving the vehicle, does it? What would that be from?

I saw that as well. I have to ask for an explanation from dealer but I am pretty sure they won’t know either. Possibly why in the events page shows two expected dates of arrival at CA NWE.

Maybe the captain forgot his wallet.

I'm going to go out on a flimsy limb here and guess Silver Sky.

It's a smaller vehicle carrier, (probably okay for Canadian shipments) it's in the right part of the ocean and it's headed to New Westminster from Korea. It'll arrive on the 26th. It did NOT stop in Shanghai, but here's my limb part. I'm going to guess that the vehicle changed ships in Korea. Maybe they had a problem with the other ship, or maybe they had a scheduling problem. Maybe the first ship was scheduled for 1/24, but because of the problem was delayed to 2/6, creating that second event, but they changed ships and got it underway only suffering a two day delay and now it's arriving around the 26th. That's a BIG maybe, but it didn't have to unfold exactly like that.

It could also kinda explain that track jutting out into the Pacific. Silver Sky came from LA to Korea, which would likely have that track coming into Korea. (That tracking history page does not touch Shanghai, btw.) I think the Lincoln VINView app is now tracking the last X days on Silver Sky. Even though the vehicle changed ships, it's not able to show history from two ships.

Yeah, I know this is a reach, but the only other thing that would make sense is that the vehicle is being transported on a regular freight ship. That's possible, but I'm going to place $1 (that's a US dollar, btw) that it's Silver Sky.

Did it go out to sea and turn around? Looks like it?

I like your thinking. I have a few on my list to watch and time will tell. I asked the dealer this afternoon if they have an ETA to dealer and she said no. I didn’t tell her that I had received an ETA from the Consierge on Lincoln Way of Feb 21,2024. Oh and I told her about the ships captain forgetting his wallet! Tricky situation !!

I took your photo of the VINview track, straightened it up, and overlayed an image of the Silver Sky track, and while I don't have a history of it coming from LA, the track around Korea, through Japan, and out to the northern Pacific track very well. I'm not sure I can explain exactly how it got on that ship, but I think I can go as high as $5 USD.

Not the prettiest work I've done, but I was trying to get the two tracks to be distinct. Here's the overlay. Blue is VINView, Purple is from shipinfo.net.

Boy it used to be all you had to do was track your vehicle from one or two places in the US or Canada. This is hysterical watching people track their vehicles all over the ocean lol. Oops your car is at the bottom of the pacific because of a typhoon lol

😄 It's really kind of silly when you step back and think about it, but I'm medically retired, so I can't do much else anyway. These other guys are probably supposed to be working. 😁

It's a matter of necessity these days. The Vehicle Order Status page offered by Lincoln provides no updates between 'shipped' and 'dealer prep'. My vehicle 'shipped' almost 6 weeks ago and will likely not make it to dealer prep for at least another 3 weeks, maybe 4. That's a long time to go without any real insight into your vehicle delivery. There is a new dealer tracking app available, but not all dealers know how to use it well or are willing to spend the time to share information with us.

Unfortunately, I think this will become more common rather than less.

I saw on the Maverick thread there is a way to track. You need the railcar number and ramp number from the sticker. Track through UP and CRX. They were tracking cars coming from Mexico. I stopped reading it when they listed the procedure coming from Mexico.
