2023 Corsair subwoofer delete alternatives

if lincoln deducted $250 for subwoofer delete, then the price to add the subwoofer is $250.
if NOT this is a cause for a class action lawsuit.
can someone please check.

Alright, so I ordered both the Subwoofer and the Amplifier. My wife has a 2024 Corsair Reserve II. Subwoofer delete not on the window sticker, and the woofer appears to be installed already, but I have also read people saying its not a real speaker. I'll be checking to see if the factory amplifier is currently installed or not, and if not, installing it and seeing if it enables the subwoofer. If not, Ill swap the subwoofer with the new one. Either way, we shall get to the bottom of this. Also, it seems pretty easy to access. Ill grab the details in the next post.
what parts numbers did you use?
Please

As far $250 goes, that is wishful thinking. You wont find used parts that cheap. I just went on Google, found a 2021 VIN number for a Corsair of the same trim as my wifes, then went to my dealership I work at parts counter to get the correct parts (although you can certainly find them used at salvage yards, eBay and LKQ and likely cheaper) but since we bought her Corsair brand new, I wanted parts from the factory and since I work at a Ford dealership I get parts without any markup. We wanted new parts with a warranty. YMMV.

I don't have them off the top of my head, but you can get them from your local dealership's parts counter. Just ask for them to write you a quote for those parts. Use a 2021 VIN Number that is the same trim level as yours. Also you will need to know what your specific vehicle needs which will require you to remove the trim in the cargo area first. Youll need to know if you have functioning components already, some vehicles do, some do not. Even if I had the list of parts numbers to provide to you, you may or may not even need all those parts. Also if you get them brand new, youll need to program the DSP if you even need it (which you wont know unless you look)

Hope this helps.

I want to start removing the back cover on the left so I can install the subwoofer, but I am afraid I do not know how to start. Are there pictures or videos of the disassembly method? Is there a way to partially disassemble it? I want the shortest and fastest way, please.

This question has come up in at least one other thread. Many comments but no real solution was found by the comments posted. I can't speak for the 2023 or 2024 Corsairs, my 2022 has what looks like a subwoofer behind the grill and my sticker shows a $250 credit for the deleted subwoofer. So if I really have the subwoofer then what looks like is missing is the amp to run it. Which makes some sense since a small subwoofer isn't going to cost $250. Plus tearing apart the dash to add in the amp is probably going to cost was more than the $250 deduction.

At least that's my story. But I've been wrong before.
the amp usually goes in the back with the subwoofer

I had already posted it in this thread a while back. Start from the beginning I forgot what post number it was. Also the amp is on the passenger side and the woofer is on the driver side. Approximately the same spots. Youll want to actually remove them and unplug them and physically look them over...my wife's Corsair had a hollowed out amp, and the woofer was just a decoration lol. Youll want to make sure that you actually need one...since some people in here only needed an amp, some vehicles only needed a woofer, and some needed all parts (like ours) its basically whatever they had in the factory in stock at the particular time each vehicle was built is what went in it. Its been inconsistent and random. Depends on the trim and options too, how many speakers and wiring harness that includes other modules too. You just have to check.

See post number 23. I posted a copy of the procedure directly out of the technician manual.

Crutchfield has a bunch of underseat woofers as well as in spare tire woofers. In Dec 2024 I purchased a 22 loaner with 10,000 miles but they crashed it the day of delivery. I bought a new 24 Reserve that squeaked so bad and bounced/vibrations....that after several trips back to the dealer, they gave me yet a 3rd Corsair in 2 months......a 24 base model with the package 3.....which has the sunroof and Revel system. For the short time I had the Reserve with no woofer and the crummy stereo, I was about to purchase the underseat or spare tire woofer. Never did....but they exist and aren't overly difficult to install.
