2023 Corsair orders, build dates

To continue these observations, I received an email on 18 May showing a production start of 17 July. I have yet to see a window sticker (as others with the same production date have now seen) and when I go back to the tracking link, now, I see no mention of production scheduled. :(
The Ford tracking site is notoriously unreliable. If you become concerned, call Lincoln concierge, you have your vin that will make it easy for them to check.

I don't believe it about the Lincoln concierge being able to help. Has anyone gotten any meaningful information out of them other than what is available from the tracking website or the emails from Lincoln? I called them once and chatted with them once, and they could not give me any other information, and referred me to ask my dealer, who is equally useless. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Lincoln over this debacle of ordering a car and having it delivered (car was supposedly built May 1 and has still not shipped).

I was equally unimpressed by the concierge- I asked a simple question (what the priority number meant) and all he would say is to call my dealer. When I called a second time, they said they would have my dealer contact me.

I’m in the same boat, I’m in Central FL btw, car built May 1, told delivery est between 5/18-24, then 23-30, No real help from either the dealer or concierge. I’m just about ready to move on.

Your dealers can give you access to vinview updates if it was shipped by rail. I get text alerts anytime my vehicle moves.

The best I can tell it hasn’t been shipped at all and has been sitting on a lot for nearly a month now.

Just for fun, what other car/model would you consider purchasing if it wasn't the Corsair?

My volvo dealer has a nice xc60 on the lot ready for me to purchase and I go back and forth daily on what to do. My corsair is scheduled for production the week of June 19 but who knows if that is true or not!

I looked at the xc60, I like it, I looked at a Cadillac xt5 or xt4, but don’t really like those options, and I looked at throwing a little more cash in the mix and may go test drive a Porsche Macan this weekend, but I was really looking for comfort over sport, so not sure that’s a good fit.

I was thinking the same thing. Sadly, based on my observations, I don't doubt it. As someone who ordered in the first week orders were open, that stings quite a lot.

To answer Michelle's question, we are all over the place. This order is for my wife who was driving an XC60. She generally liked it, but really likes the look and styling of the Corsair. Ironically, though, while we impatiently wait, we are actually considering saving some big money and going with a loaded Hyundai Tucson! Part of our decision with this replacement is to go to PHEV. The PHEV Tucson has all of the tech that my wife cares about, has some technical decisions (i.e. real buttons for HVAC and comfort controls) and is significantly cheaper. The features that are clearly missing are things she was less interested in (HUD and BlueDrive). I am concerned that she would have really liked the perfect position seats, but the reviews on here are slightly mixed on those seats.

It really hurts us that we can't even go sit in a 2023 anywhere close to us. If she could drive the Corsair, we could determine if she is really is happy with it as she had hoped she would be.

We haven't forfeited our order yet.

Mid June! I was surprised as well, i received an email saying it was “scheduled” for then but the tracker still says ordered and no window sticker yet.

I’ve wanted a luxury car for so long and I’m trying to hold out. Idk how you guys are waiting almost a year! I couldn’t do it. My dealer has plenty of 2022’s on the lot so we at least know what we are getting.

Another question, did you have to put a deposit down to order? First dealer we went to wanted $2500, uh no thanks. Second was $500, fully refundable.

Suggest you put some miles on a new Tucson before you decide to buy. My wife has a 2019 Ultimate (the highest '19 trim level) with a bigger touch screen, heated and ventilated seats, cameras all around etc etc. Loaded!! Perfect condition ; she loves it except the comfort of the front seats, which we both dislike especially on longer trips. -- partly explaining why we are replacing it with a Corsair or a Lexus NX which we also have a deposit on.

We drove the NX and we so disappointed. It had no “go” power at all. The RX was so much better but more $$$.

Thats too bad. My dealer was very helpful.
I have called Lincoln concierge twice both times gave me info I wanted.

If you use Android Auto, please take a picture of the info display with it active. I am curious what shows with AA running.
Please also post a picture of the lower buttons and volume knob. I have not been able to get a good pictured of this.

I think I have a long wait until my GT is built.
I don’t have Android but do have CarPlay so posted those pics in the photos thread. Hope that gives you a sense of it. The main screen is full app view but when you go Home Screen the media is in a smaller view so you can still see what’s playing. Love that as I use the app for music and calls but like the native navigation.

You can't really order a new Lexus NX 350 hybrid, which we wanted in January. You tell the dealer what you want, give him a deposit, and tell him to go forth and find it amongst his allocations. He hasn't. So as time passes, it looks like Lincoln all the way. As an aside we haven't been able to test drive either one (because there are none that aren't already sold). Crazy!!!

Thanks, I saw the pictures. Looks great. Now if AA behaves like CarPlay I will be happy. I use AA on my 2022 as there is no natural language capability. With AA I can do things like "add a stop at the next McDonalds" and it understands. With the native maps, it takes multiple commands.

Called Concierge 3 times and all calls were just as yours were. I think the only person that ever got a straight answer from Concierge was Olderbudweiser. Maybe he should start a business calling Lincoln to get answers for others .LOL.
