Now: 2016 MKX Reserve: | Delivered (refused): 2022 Lincoln Corsair GT | Ordered: 2023 Lincoln Corsair GT
Just for fun, what other car/model would you consider purchasing if it wasn't the Corsair?

My volvo dealer has a nice xc60 on the lot ready for me to purchase and I go back and forth daily on what to do. My corsair is scheduled for production the week of June 19 but who knows if that is true or not!
I really liked the Volvo XC60 and the XC60 Recharge, interior was very nice, rode nice etc but couldn't get past it uses premium fuel and is owned by a Chinese Company (Geely)

Suggest you put some miles on a new Tucson before you decide to buy. My wife has a 2019 Ultimate (the highest '19 trim level) with a bigger touch screen, heated and ventilated seats, cameras all around etc etc. Loaded!! Perfect condition ; she loves it except the comfort of the front seats, which we both dislike especially on longer trips. -- partly explaining why we are replacing it with a Corsair or a Lexus NX which we also have a deposit on.
Thanks for the input. I am fairly sure they did a redesign since 2019 but will have to look into it. My wife is fairly particular about seats and our inability to even sit in a Corsair with the upgraded seats has caused a lot of concern on our part. We have driven a couple Tucson's so far but not for an extended test drive. Then again, this is not our "trip car". The 2019 XC60 we sold last fall had less than 35K miles on it in the 3 years we owned it. The XC60 only left the state twice!
Either way, the Tucson is not a luxury car, by any means. But, I am impressed with the tech that is included. It has a faster charger than the Corsair GT. They really put a lot into their package, quite honestly.

Not to mention, we can drive a Tucson home this weekend instead of playing this game this waiting game with Lincoln. This is so frustrating.

Hyundai is a remarkable car company: Warranty, quality control and on and on. Check out the Youtube video of the factory in Korea. Unbelievable. So wifie wanted a compact SUV so the Santa Fe was too big and we got a Tucson. And now we are in the market for a new car. Recently we looked at and drove a Genesis GV70. Nice but wifie's long legs didn't like it. The Lincoln is a now a finalist and ordered.

I love the exterior of the GV70, interior not so much. Also, Hyundai’s EV plant is in GA just near the GA-AL border.

My GT order was placed 01/19/2023. There is still no build date.
I just talked to my sales manager and he thinks it may morph into a 2024. Anyone heard when the switch to 2024 might be? He said the good news was, if it changed to a 2024, I would still get my 01/19/2023 pricing.
I know 2023 GT orders were closed about a month ago.

Sadly, both the Tucson and Santa Fe PHEVs are built in Korea. So if we go that route, we lose the $3750 tax credit that the Corsair would currently give us.

I’ve wanted a luxury car for so long and I’m trying to hold out. Idk how you guys are waiting almost a year! I couldn’t do it. My dealer has plenty of 2022’s on the lot so we at least know what we are getting.

Another question, did you have to put a deposit down to order? First dealer we went to wanted $2500, uh no thanks. Second was $500, fully refundable.
I put down $1000, I think refundable. They initially asked for $3000 but allowed the $1K when I protested.

I remain optimistic about a July 1ish delivery for a 6 1/2 month wait. Supposedly built 5/24 but I've no shipping info.

Hi AJ. For your own protection, keep in mind that a 2023 order can not simply "morph" into a 2024 order. Yes, Lincoln and the Dealership can honor the 2023 pricing, but the Purchase Order, contracts etc. will still need to be re-written for a 2024 vehicle.

So if that comes to pass, be sure to check with your Dealership to be sure they perform those changes in a timely manner, and place the new order correctly.

Perhaps they already explained this to you. However, since you did not mention it, I wanted to play it safe and provide the information now, so you do not get any unpleasant surprises later.

Keep us updated and good luck. 🍻

Called Concierge 3 times and all calls were just as yours were. I think the only person that ever got a straight answer from Concierge was Olderbudweiser. Maybe he should start a business calling Lincoln to get answers for others .LOL.

Guess I was lucky from the sounds of it. Now I just drive to my dealer. The order manger now calls me by my first name. When I wax waiting he would look up my vehicle and give me a status updste.
It’s nice dealer is 12-15 minutes away.
