2023 Corsair orders, build dates

In your screen shot the in production circle has to have the check mark to actually be in production. My tracking information has looked like that since December 2022.

I received an update today, also. I ordered a Corsair GT on 1/31/23. For a long time, I did not have a build date. Today the date was updated to 4/24/23. Hopeful!

Would love to see a GT get built. Not as much as youI'm sure. But just knowing builds are getting done.

It's happening!

Mine looks exactly the same. Same verbiage about custom built.

VEHICLE STATUS

Your Lincoln vehicle is now being custom built to your specifications. Due to high demand and global supply-chain constraints within the automotive industry, vehicle production may be delayed. For production updates or additional assistance, please contact your Lincoln Retailer. In the link below, you will find the Window Sticker for your new Lincoln!

Now you have me worried that my vehicle has been in production since January and it's been partially completed sitting on the line, being used as a lunch room and break room

Hey @LinkedMe

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been getting any updates. The order process is frustrating enough as it is.

If you haven't already done so, your next step should be to contact the Lincoln Concierge (1-800-521-4140). The Concierge is a free service and will give you periodic updates via SMS text message (or email if you prefer). Most of the time, the update will be to tell you that there is no update... but they will provide feedback that lets you know you have not been forgotten.

Each message I receive from the Concierge always tells me when I will get my next update. In my case, I reliably hear something every two weeks.
Hi Arteest, Well I tried the Concierge route again this afternoon. They still couldn't tell me anything except the order was received. They said I can keep trying for updates and they'll gladly check again. I did ask if there is something in particular, like color or component options etc, that is keeping it from getting in at least a Production queue but they said they aren't given any info on what may be delaying a production schedule being established. I mentioned I had most options and he said probably there is one or more items holding it up.

If I only knew what was delaying a schedule I may be willing to change something, exterior/interior color, options etc.

I wouldn't worry about that. Don't need a lunch room or a break room when you're not building cars!

How do the priority codes work?
Against you! Always against you! 😉

Priority 1 to 10 are controlled by Lincoln reps with 1 and 2 usually reserved for quick turn arounds on buy-backs, damaged in transit, etc. 11 to 19 are dealer assigned based on their priority needs. Pretty much anything over 10 is treated close the same since they don't prioritize between different dealers. Allocation is another animal and that is where high volume dealers have a big advantage over low volume dealers since they get more slots (allocations). So basically, if your dealer has a large allocation and has used all his slots, the priority level he assigns will move the vehicle up the line but only within his allocation and not bump other dealer's slots. Priorities assigned below 10 (by Lincoln) can push others further back.

Then there is the whole parts availability factor. These days, that seems to be more of scheduling influencer than anything.

Good luck.

Thanks that explains a lot. I was looking at my order and noticed it was a 10 priority code. I called the concierge and asked him where that code was in the continuum and he told me he could not get involved in the sales process. I asked him if he could at least tell me what the code actually meant, he told me again to call the dealer- my sales guy is very good at promising a return call that he never makes so I told the concierge that the dealer does not help, he told me to contact the dealer, so that was a dead end. Thanks to you, I got my question answered- thanks!

Correction, it is 1 to 9 for Lincoln and 10 to 19 for the dealer.

Today is a good day, my wife’s Corsair went to production as well, Reserve III with all options View attachment 16591
Hi VJ did you receive an email telling you your Corsair is in production?
The screen shot you posted is exactly how my Corsair order has looked since January. (Different color) :) Same verbiage. My scheduled build week is April 3, 2023.

I have never ordered a vehicle with the build and track option. So not 100% sure how to interpret being in production or not.
Fingers crossed yours is being built. Means I'm close.

No email, I just keep following the track link from last email. It has updated several times without e-mail updates

Same here ,I have heard that some vehicles were in the production phase when the software issure has held them back from being moved into the built stage and then those vehicles should jump into built stage soon . Unless there is a supply chain shortage for the batteries from China for the GT. We are at their mercy for those until we come up with the resources to make our own. But it finally looks like things are moving in our direction.😉
