2022 Navigator

Just heard a voicemail from Westpoint Lincoln salesman in Houston, I guess he left it Wednesday. Says the 2023 books open Monday 08/15/2022, I know there have been post in the forum but since he took the time to call it seems even more official, I'll see in the morning. Wondering if it'll be added to the Lincoln website tomorrow?
This has been known for a while. The order guide will become available on or around the 15th.

As of this morning, my build is "in production" and I finally have a window sticker! Interesting notes on the window sticker-1. it appears I *do* have massaging front seats after being told I wouldn't, and 2. it lists a $55 discount with the line item "lift gate- standard functional" This is the first I'm hearing of the lift gate being impacted by the infamous world of chip shortages.

Hi Tcrowe. I read that to mean your liftgate will be the standard function liftgate (no "Hands-free" feature), and therefore you will be getting the $55 credit for no "Hands free" liftgate, which has been widely discussed in various threads.

You can always check with your Dealer and/or Lincoln Concierge to see if they can clear up any confusion.

Good luck.

Very possible I missed the foot-waving lift gate feature being deleted as this is really the only thread I follow. It’s not a big deal for us because I have it on my current vehicle and it’s garbage. As long as it’s power-assisted open/close, it’s gravy. I co firmed this am that it is power assisted.

On my 2022, it works 99% of the time and works great. It is unfortunate. I used it last night when I got back from flying a trip. I don't recall if this is one of the items that will be able to be installed later by the dealer when the chip becomes available.

Yes, in my 2020, it was 50/50 if it would work.

Hi Tcrowe. Yes, you will still be able to open he hatch using the inside hatch release on the drivers side of the dash, the keyfob buttons, and the button on the rear hatch itself.

Due to the pandemic induced computer chip shortage, you will simply will not have the "Hands free"/foot kick feature.

However, information seems to indicate that this feature will be added back later, onto those vehicles it was deleted from, once the computer chips become widely available again. But there is no timeline for that as of yet.

Good luck.

Understood, I just wanted to point it out because the original date was June 15th and they moved it to August 15. Seems like this date will hold up, but in these uncertain times they could announce another pushback Sunday 😳💀

Oh okay, I see what you mean. Yes, I now see the original June 15 date. Hopefully this holds.

Yep, talked to my dealership yesterday, they sent me the order list that's been posted on a couple forums already and asked me when id be able to come in and place the order. So excited!

Order guide appears to be almost identical to the 2022MY with the exception of a deleted blue color and addition of a metallic red.
I noticed Diamond Red ONLY under the Reserve not the Black Label, wonder if that's accurate?

A week and a half later and my build still shows as "in production"- not sure what to think of it. I was told it would take 1-2 days for the build and here we are.

I don' think that means actually being built. I think it means the parts are there and you are in the queue, basically. I wouldn't sweat it. I know, easy to say at this point, but I think you will have yours built in short order.

I was told my actual build date was Monday so it should’ve been done Tuesday. Maybe there were delays? Who knows.
