I’ve been moved three times too. Started with February 14th, then February 28 and last night March 7th. Not an immediate need but would like it before the end of the year!!
 
Hopefully, we are all price protected. My pickup truck had four price increases while I waited for it.
 
Now, I get an email today that moves me back to March 28th. Very weird.
 
Went to the car show this weekend. For what it's worth relative to managing expectations: when pressed, the factory rep admitted that their internal date for production does not begin until May 7. He claimed that May was the only date they had ever discussed internally. I have no idea if he was making it up, but not sure why he would pick such a late date if he was...

for what it's worth my dealer has been saying for months not to expect to see them on the road before May or June.
 
I wonder how long it'll be before reporters get their hands on these to do the reviews? The marketing people have to want some buzz with the car show circuit going.

Many dealers I spoke with have also given May if only in the estimated delivery time, but I also heard May from one dealer and another told me not to expect a 2022 until Sept (given my order was in Jan). Granted he was trying to sell me on a 2021 they'd just gotten in, but he also seemed sincere - he said based on the factory info they were getting Jan orders wouldn't "realistically" deliver until september.

I was prepared for a 3-4 month wait when I ordered in January, not so much 8-9. Sure hope they will deliver sooner rather than later.

If it's not until September, then I may just wait for the '23 :rolleyes:
 
I can attest to this. Had a family member order an X7. Whole process from order to delivery was about 8-10 weeks. Was amazed it moved this quick but it happened.

X7s are made in Greer, NC. Spartanburg Factory has capacity of 1500/day production. They have dedicated charters 747 planes twice a week to and from Germany.
