2022 Navigator

Was this standard or was there some reason they did this for you specifically (give you $750 voucher). If standard, might be worth a drive downtown and dealing with all that!

Hi BoatLincoln. If given out at all, vouchers such as that are usually offered to attendees on a random basis, by the spokesperson at a stand. Usually with no particular rhyme or reason other than maybe how much interest the attendee shows in purchasing the vehicle.

So showing up will not necessarily get you a voucher. It may, it may not. If you decide to go and they don't offer one, you can always ask.

Good luck.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply. I’m not interested in the X7 as it’s simply not big enough for my family. I’m eyeballing the 2022 Lexus LX quite heavily as a back up. As soon as it’s on the lots, I’ll check it out. I need a car in the next three or so months so I’ve got to figure out a back up plan.
Have you driven a ‘21 LX? Just wondering how it drives/rides compared to Navigator?

I haven't driven the LX but I've owned two Lexus vehicles, my MIL owned a different model Lexus sedan, and I've had a thousand different loaners from them over the years. That being said, the Gator, for me, was a cushy, luxurious experience while still being capable in many avenues (towing, snow abilities, etc). The LX is also a body on frame SUV with serious off-road skill so I'd think they're in the same ballpark. I'd imagine it drives similarly to the Lexus GX, which I loved but didn't buy.

Thanks for the insight...

Take this for what it is…

So last week I called Lincoln concierge and asked for an update on my order. They had a hard time finding it so reached out to the dealer to find the order #. They called back today letting me know they are still working on it. Shortly after Lincoln called I got a call from the sales manager at the dealership and he said the Lincoln reps were actually in town from Detroit and they let him know production just began on the ‘22 Navigators THIS WEEK. He said I should have a build date early next week. I assume this is why so many orders are being pushed from February to March build dates. I assume I won’t get a build date until April based on a late December order.

Thanks for the update & info ... also in the news of course is Kentucky cutting shifts due to supply shortages

There is a "restart date" I assume it is stopped?
I think "restart date" modifies the "status" field before it ... so some are "idle" and other like the Navigator are "limited capacity" thus I'm assuming Restart Date refers to returning to full capacity from limited capacity versus from idle ... and it makes sense as previously Ford has said they're prioritizing Mustangs, F-150s, super-dutys, etc

I went to the Houston Auto Show a few weeks back. They had the 2021 Navigator you could sit in, but the 2022 was display only and you couldn’t touch. The lady asked for my email and see just for attending the car show I get $750 towards a new purchase. Gave her my email and I got the code! I can now apply both the Ford X Plan and this $750 car show voucher. My sewer even gave me free Tix to the car show when I called and asked if they had extras. $0.00 admission for my family of 4, walked out when $750 extra off.

Side note, I’ve always been a GM guy. Get this, at the Houston Auto show in the 4th largest city in the country, GM WAS NO THERE!!! No Yukons, No Sierras, nothing. The Chevy representative who was there blamed it on you know…. COVID. I flat out told her, that’s gotta be the dumbest excuse over ever heard. I said I see Ford, Chevy, RAM, Toyota, and tons of others. I had already placed my order for the navigator as it was leaps and bounds better than the Yukon Denali. But I told her this makes my decision easy. Come to the car show and can’t even see a vehicle your interested in . I was interested in the 2500 Sierra HD.

I’m still not even scheduled so I’ll end up ordering a 2023 I’m sure 😂😂

Got bumped again, April 4 now. I started at March 14th, then to March 21.
When did you order yours? I placed an order on 1/31 and do not have a build date yet. My dealer told me 3-4 months. I had hoped that was a conservative estimate but looks like it may be even longer based on this forum. 🤞🏼
