2022 Navigator

I got the same vehicle almost. Pristine White with what is now called Alpine interior. Same as Chalet.

I got two options sort of. I got the roof cross rail and massage seats for the second row. I also got the second row console again. Wife and daughter like that feature.

I’ll have to scour the 2021 order guide as well as the 2022 to see if the tiered cargo management system was deleted. I can’t find it. The dealer ordering guru supposed to check too. I used it a handful of times but when I did it was very handy.
My kids always knock the cargo management system down off the not-so-sturdy bracket when they power recline the third row. I think I might opt out of it this time if that's an option.

I don't think you'll have to opt out. Like I said, I think it was deleted.

Question about the infotainment on the 2022. It says it is now a 13.2 inch display vs 10.0 inch. The screen and a/c vents blend together as one piece. Probably a silly question here, but is this just utilizing all of the real estate on the screen? They didn't actually redesign all of that and enlarge the vents and screen did they?

I know no one has seen it in person yet. Just curious if anyone has the scoop on this.

I wondered that. If you look at photos and videos real close, it seems they did widen the vents a smidgen to accommodate the screen.
Wow, okay. Well, I'm trying to get my wife to let me buy her a 2021. I could then compare lol.

Yeah, it does all look bigger in the pics, but then the piano key shifters would have had to have been enlarged also. Hmmmm.

Maybe not. Who knows.

Ya know, @dlcorbett, I think you'e right. Hard to tell for sure. This is my Nav and one of the 2022 promo shots. The whole assembly does look slightly bigger, and when I put a tape measure to it, it wasn't 13.2 inches diagonally.

I need a hobby lol. Counting the louvers in the above pics, the 2022 appears to have an added louver, thus a larger size. That's good, too.

Just ordered mine - not quite $10K like Black Label (), but the dealer did honor the X-plan without any additional markup - which in this market is remarkable! I ordered the Reserve in Ceramic Pearl, Sandstone interior and the Heavy Duty tow package. Rear seat with center console as well. Turns out the Cargo management system is now a standard item (not the roof cross rails), and Active Glide is still part of the package even with the towing upgrade. First time for me in any Ford/Lincoln product, so I'm betting big on them!

I always pay invoice but I pay the difference in MSRP in buyback, according to IL Lemon Laws.

I hope you enjoy it and look forward to your impressions and posts down the road.

Do we know if the Sandstone interior color on the Reserve is any different than the cappuccino on the current models? Curious if they darkened it up a bit

Hi TXNav. Yes, the colors are different. Can't tell you about the exact shading.

Good luck.
Yeah, until I see it in person no one will know. The pictures they have online vary quite a bit from what it looks like in person. Russet for example doesn’t look nearly as orange online as it does in person.

They told me that Sandstone in the Aviator was very similar, but that looks very light...

Does anyone know the costs of these options on the 2022 Navigator?
eLSD
Luxury Package
Second Row Enhanced Massage w/console

Thanks.

I was told the '22 luxury package is around 4500-5000, but some of the luxury options from '21 are now standard. 2nd row massage seats were supposedly around 1000. I don't know about eLSD on the 22, but on the '21 it was between 1500 and 2000.

Pretty sure pricing info is on Edmunds, or have your dealer price it.

You can always go to Lincoln.com and do the Build To Price. That way you can see the available options and costs for every model of the Navigator.

The Build & Price isn’t available yet fir the 2022. It still shows the 2021. Not sure when that will be updated.

My understanding is it will be shortly before they become available in January. I read on Blue Oval Forum that that is typical across most automakers.
