2022 Navigator

Hi BL. Generally speaking, if the modem has been activated, then the vehicle has been "built".

That being said, we cannot know if there are any holds on your Navigator for computer chips or other parts/commodities which may delay shipping.

For that, you will need to wait to hear from Lincoln (or "cyberdman"...lol).

Keep us updated and good luck.
All understood, my friend. I was pointing out the things appearing in my app as evidence that it is has probably been built. Hopefully, cyberdman has an update tomorrow for me if I don't get an email from Lincoln. I did bump my tracking thread today on BOF, and I spent 3 hours reading the rules lol.

Cheers!

Well, whaddayaknow, I just looked on BOF, and cyberdamn replied about 7 hours ago. Hmmm, no notification, but he says "In Production - Produced Ford Kentucky Truck Plant 2, KY Mar-29-2022, 00:00 EDT".

Sahweet!!

Hopefully this isn't coming for us:

In recent weeks, ongoing supply constraints including the chip shortage have prompted Ford to remove a number of options from various models, including Active Park Assist 2.0 from the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E EV crossover and the 2022 Ford F-150. Now, sources familiar with the matter have told Ford Authority that the 2022 Ford Expedition will also drop Active Park Assist 2.0 from its lineup, and scheduled orders have already been amended to eliminate this feature temporarily.

I now have the "Wifi Hotspot" in the Vehicle tab. No email or indication from Lincoln it was built yet.

Maybe there IS hope for those of us with black interior since you got scheduled. Fingers and toes are crossed we get scheduled soon.
Don't forget that each trim level has its own grade of leather and mine is the Reserve level.

Starting on April 15th, all 2022 Lincoln Navigator models will be produced without the Active Park Assist 2.0 feature and will instead come equipped with an Active Park Assist 2.0 Prep Kit (option 98H), which includes all of the wiring and sensors necessary to install the feature at a later date, though it does not include the necessary chip module. The option will be listed on the vehicle’s window sticker, and affected customers will be required to sign a form acknowledging that their SUV isn’t equipped with functional Active Park Assist 2.0.

I can now see my window sticker with a build date of next week. There is a note that says ‘Your vehicle is being manufactured to your specifications. The build process can take several days. You can also see your Window Sticker now in the link below.’ Exciting!

The price went up $935, too.

DAMN! That could take me out da game ... depends on what the expected wait time would be for the retrofit ...

What was the price increase for? Did everything go up a little or did the destination fee go up?

Yeah I mean it isn’t that huge of a deal for me but given the price of the car they should prioritize the chipsets for their flagship vehicle. If I wanted missing features I could just go buy a GMC Yukon Denali off a lot an not wait 6 months and pay $20k less.

I went to a local dealer to see a 2022 Reserve Monochromatic. Not wild about the Black everywhere but it was good to see the new vehicle. I was also a little surprised that the Black Onyx interior is really a dark grey. I think it will look really good with the Silver Radiance I ordered. The second row massage seats seem to have much thicker seatbacks. Kind of annoying they have manual recline and slide controls though. I liked the second row center console but it does stick up a lot when all seats are folded flat. That complicates hauling large flat items. If it had the HD Towing option I would consider it but I think I'll wait for my order. The dealer is checking on adding the components but I think the factory option would be better.

This BL just got listed by my dealer... same principle of saying Chrome Grille as standard and then the actual grille under optional equipment/other. But this time they have used different terminology: Black Label Special Edition grille. That's confusing too :) Is it the BL special grille or the Special Edition grille? The pic on the listing shows the BL grille, but its a generic pic not the actual car...

I just got access to my window sticker (yay!) and they have finally found some unambiguous terminology for the BL grille:
