1971 Mark III Headlight Switch Removal

How does one manage to remove this switch? I've gotten to the point where I've pulled the knob and shaft our after pressing the spring loaded button, but now the remaining assembly feels as though its really in there so I must be missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Once the knob and shaft are removed it exposes a bezel nut, or the auto dim sensitivity adjuster.
Remove the auto dim adjuster and that exposes a nut.

In either case, that nut has to come out the front and the switch comes out the rear.

Post a picture and I can mark it up for you.
