Customer Satisfaction Program 24B54 - Certain 2024 Model Year Nautilus - Update Infotainment Software

I don’t know if this was discussed or confirmed by anyone, but did this infotainment update add any cool features or was it just bug fixes? We haven’t really gone thoroughly through the features, and even if we did, any new features might not be readily noticeable.
No new features at all. Just bug fixes and a couple minor cosmetic changes -- turn signal sound volume, color change to a few graphics that pop up on the screen. But I see a much better experience with the infotainment system -- no more periodic reboots for me.

Edited to add: I forgot about the temp gauge addition. A largely wasted feature.

Well, it’s worth it if we don’t have to reboot the system anymore.

I’m really surprised they didn’t add more features…at least more widgets to choose from.

I brought my car in so they could hear my rear shock noise and order my 2nd set of shocks. They had the car for a few hours but somehow managed to to perform the ABS module drain update, rear window force update and the 24B54 update. From what I understand it typically takes so long they recommend a loaner. I got the car back and noticed all the little cosmetic changes mentioned as well as the new turn signal sound. Also ran into an issue with Siri not reading texts so I reset and saw the pop is gone. So far everything seems ok after the reset.

I dropped my Reserver 2 Hybrid with 22" wheels off today for the 4th set of shocks. I will let you know what happens. Please let us know how you make out.

I am less interested in new fancy features but just fixing / enhancing the existing features - more stable, better profile management, easy entry fix. improved touch, improved interface (too many levels to get to commands), improved help on connectivity issues (very common complaint here), better battery management capability, etc.

The main feature I would add is battery voltage/charge status (under my battery management). I feel that if the battery is going to have a deep sleep event it could defect it sooner.

Our 2025 Nautilus R3 Hybrid ran well for the first 1000 miles or so, then its GPS/internet connectivity totally stopped working. GPS showed a map of USA. Weather widget froze at time of failure. No access to Alexa or Play Store. Even the "Internet" settings menu disappeared. Several calls to Lincoln Way Concierge did not help. Our local dealer verified "a lot of Module Authentication DTC's were present". Yesterday the dealer tech performed a "TRON Module Authentication Repair". All is well now.

I wonder ... A) Why didn't the original Sales Team get this done? B) Why did it work for 1K miles, then suddenly stop? C) Is our Nautilus Connectivity stable now?

To the credit of our local dealer, Miller Lincoln in Lumberton, NJ, they picked up, fixed, and dropped off our Nautilus in a total of 5 hours! Kudos to Miller Lincoln!

Hi stim. Sorry about the issues.

Just as an FYI for all Lincoln Owners: in the majority of cases, if we have a vehicle issue, our first call and touchpoint is the Service Department at our Lincoln Dealership, not Lincoln Concierge.

Lincoln Concierge is who we call for further assistance if/when the Dealership can not fix our vehicle or help with questions.

Yes, Lincoln Concierge can help with hands-off type things like walking us through SYNC Master resets etc., but those things are also explained in our Owner Manuals.

What Lincoln Concierge can do to physically repair our vehicles is obviously limited. So…As inconvenient as bringing our vehicles in for service can be, it is a fact of life for most issues.

Use Lincoln Concierge when the Dealer can not seem to correct an issue. Or the Dealership is uncooperative. Or to get answers or help with questions the Dealer can’t answer (or we can’t answer here)…etc. etc.

Hope that makes sense, keep us updated, and good luck with your new vehicle.

You are the second that has reported that once they cleared the DTCs that issues went away.

I started on a trip today. Cape Coral, FL to Ft. Pierce, FL. For whatever reason my Google maps no longer shows the ETA on the 48” screen. It’s almost like the update has been erased. Anybody else seeing this? It was certainly working for me on my trip down to Florida in mid November. No telling when it stopped showing up on the 48” inch screen, but noticed it today. Very disappointing!

Yes I took a trip last weekend and noticed mine was gone as well. It was working fine right after Thanksgiving but has been broken somewhere along the way.

Yesterday the ETA stopped showing on my 48" screen, and the mirrors stopped folding when locking the car. I remember the mirrors stopped folding a few months ago, then started working again, but my Nautilus has been at the dealer at least once a month for the past six months, so it's hard for me to determine if those problems were fixed by the dealer clearing codes and reinstalling updates, or they just resolved themselves.

Have you tried an infotainment reboot (the 10 second volume knob one)? Perhaps Lincoln has pushed some kind of "background" OTA update(s) that needs a soft restart to settle in?

It’s also possible Google pushes updates to the car via the Play Store. Google Maps is just another app for the most part. The owners of apps can update the feature set in them.

It is bothersome that updates happen without any form of notification. I looked everywhere I can think of and see no notice of an update, yet some kind of update must have taken place to remove this functionality.

I got online to the support system for a weekend a couple of weeks ago and for my VIN there was a listing of all the modules in the vehicle and when each were most recently updated. Lincoln Way (the old version) said my last update was Oct 11. I was surprised that there were several modules updates since, but more surprised how many modules were tagged as having an update available. My last service was September.

Lincoln had said it would be sent OTA in 4Q but judging from comments on Facebook, it is not getting to everyone. (Of course, the ones that did not get it are the ones to have an issue).
