2024 Nautilus Reserve Hybrid
We just got a 2024 Nautilus hybrid a month ago and live in the mountains in CO. Wondering if anyone has any experience driving this model in the snow last winter? Our last vehicle was a 2019 Mazda CX-9 with Blizzak snow tires and it did very well. I'm planning on getting the Blizzaks again this winter for the Nautilus.

Hi MCY1031. They are two similarly sized, AWD CUV’s (yes, a weight difference, but it is not a real factor here). So the most important factor will be the tires.
If you install the same Blizzak tire model on the Nautilus as you had on the Mazda, you will do just fine.

Good luck.

They just arrived in the US this year, the earliest I see on the delivery schedule thread is someone receiving theirs on 20 Feb, and I don't know if they live in a snowy area.

This coming winter will be the first full winter season for the new Nautilus. That said, it has AWD, decent mass, and with good tires should be fine. I'll be curious to see how the Slippery and Deep Conditions modes work in the North (I'm near Syracuse, we're due for snow after last year being low snow accumulation).

You need the blizzak or Pirelli weather active or Michelin cross climate 2… anything 3 peak rated

Otherwise as long as it starts you will be fine (battery drain issues), I’d carry a jump pack

I think you mean Michelin Cross Climate 2. It is 3 peak rated. The Contact is Continental brand.

FB has someone in PA getting their gas version delivered on Jan 13, although Feb 20 sounds about right for the hybrid.

I'm curious how the hybrid works in snow since it's a split system AWD. I've read personal accounts that say it's better than a gas AWD.

what winters tires are owners looking at for their 2024 Nautilus Hybrid. I have the Jet Package so 22's on for summer. Looking at going with 20" with steel rims, been researching Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 or R5.

I have 18s Blizzaks mounted on Alloy wheels from my 21 Nautilus. Can I use these on my 24? As they are still good and do not have heavy mileage on them.

The 18 s will work because the spare is 18 however just barely. The rims will not work from the 21 Nautilus. The 21 has a 63.4mm centre bore. The 24 has a 71mm centre bore. The wheel offsets are way different between the 2 rims. Lincoln has come out with a new 19 inch rim exactly the right specs for 24. You will need to purchase new 255 60 19 rims and from the Dealer as no one else makes this correct size and spec rim. I order my rims from Dealer and Michelin x Snow winters. I checked every where for after market rims and no one makes the correct wheel spec. Price for OEM Aluminum wheels wern't bad plus new sensors as they were updated also.

Looks like I will sell my tires and rims as mounted and buy new tires and rims

Those rims are inncorrect spec. The hub bore is to big and the offset is way off. Oem offset is + 70mm.

Thanks for checking!

Doesn't that mean the website is wrong?

You can check right on the back side of your Wheels. The office is molded right on the back side of the rim spokes. Wheel diameter , rim width and offset are all there. Remeber this is a new platform for the 24 Nautilus. C2 platform is the same for the 2019 and up Focus, 20 and up Escape, Maverick, Bronco Sport and Nautilus. I personally measured the hub bore. 71mm

Hi Lincoln 24. I was only asking my previous questions in order to help others with the question, and do not have a Nautilus.
Did you get that 70mm spec off your 2024 Nautilus wheels? Not all factory wheels have the specs stamped on them.

I tried researching before asking you my earlier questions, and could not come up with what I would consider to be definitive 2024 Nautilus wheel spec information. However, as an example, here is data on the 2020 Escape (only since you mention it, and the C2 platform, in your previous reply): 2020 Escape wheel offset - Google Search

And if I recall correctly, the previous generation Nautilus wheel offset was somewhere in the 40-44 mm range. And the last generation Focus (which you also mention) was also in that same general offset range. While I can certainly be incorrect, experience states such a large variance, to 70mm, would be highly unusual.

In addition, the center bore specs I find online state the center bore of the 2024 Nautilus is 63.4 mm. But again, I admit that information may be inaccurate. That’s why I was asking for some sort of official verification, one way or another.

Please understand I am not tying to argue. What I am trying to do is help provide the correct offset information. And experience tells me that a 70mm offset on a modern Lincoln/Ford CUV would be highly unusual.

I would only add that since it is a new model, I certainly realize that the information I/we find online is still incomplete and often confusing.

Hope that explains my reasons for asking if there are any official links you (or anyone else) may have access to and would be able to provide.

Again…information is scarce at this point, so I’m simply trying to make sure we provide the correct information.

Good luck.

As I mentioned the stamping is directly on the wheel. I have many Ford vehicles and I checked all my wheels and the all have the offsets imprinted on everyone in you know what you are looking for. Every model has different offset specs. I mentioned all the models on the C2 platform but I did not state that all the offsetts were the same. My vehicle came with the 21" rims. a vehicle with the 20 or 22inch rim nay be slight difference say 65 offset or 60. I dont know there numbers specifically. I chose to go with the 19 inch for my Winter rim as that is what Ford has created with the specific tire size previously mentioned. The 24 Nautilus has a unique hub backspacing and this is why the enginnering chose the corresponding offset.

I've seen a handful of remanufactured 2024 Nautilus wheels on ebay. For example, this was from a 22" wheel. The offset is listed as 60mm.

Edit: After research, my opinion is that this is NOT a 2024 Nautilus wheel.
