2024 Hybrid Nautilus (Engine Problems)

No real response other than, “ we have great news! We will just replace your engine”. Asked for an extended warranty and was also told no regarding that. Really concerned about this impacting resale.
I agree with you. One poster responded to my commenting on resale by saying "people have short memories! Just as I feared, Carfax is recording these issues. Kmen has confirmed (post 563 above) a CPO injector replacement Carfax Report!
Short memory has nothing to do with it. You will just be a Carfax report away to let you know the history of your vehicle from day one! No long-term memory needed.

A few posters were taking comfort in the issues they were experiencing by proclaiming (I am paraphrasing) they are (proudly?) bearing the battle scars by being the first to experience and survive these issues. That made me chuckle! Reminded me of the scene in JAWS when out at sea, they were comparing wounds they suffered throughout the years! OK, fine to feel that way, but with no compensation from Lincoln, like an extended warranty, I would feel more like a used lab rat than a proud battle-scarred warrior!

Now to add insult on injury, the only award you get for putting up with all this is a Carfax Report to prove to any potential buyers down the road you (and your Nautilus) are battle scarred survivors! Yes, I agree, that is going to hurt resale! An extended warranty would be the least FoMoCo can do to compensate afflicted owners and potentially bolster resale.

My local dealer has 137 new 2024 Nautilus's on the lot, and summer is not even here yet! I am not inferring that this excessive amount of lot squatters is due to the issues many are experiencing. These vehicles were not big sellers the previous year, and the "Conscientious Objectors" who oppose the country of origin the 2024 Nautilus is from does not help either!

Hopefully, all will go well with those getting injectors or engine replacements, and many happy miles will be enjoyed down the road!

I had the same concerns and was one of my arguments for the RVA. Good luck with everything.

My injectors are being replaced today per the recall. Does this replacement actually solve the issue or have people had failure afterwards? I am hoping this will help me worry less about getting stuck. Sorry to all those who have had problems.

I have not read a single report here or on Facebook of an engine failure after the injectors have been replaced. I just drove an 1100 mile trip with my new injectors. No problems. I've let my previous caution go.

Did you get anywhere with the RVA? Mine's going into the shop Friday for the 4th time now and I am going to start that conversation. I love the car and didn't have any show stopper issues until recently. Now, it's something new every time I drive it and with the injector replacement on Carfax reports, I think I want out for now.

I'm waiting to hear back from them. All of the discussions have been positive, but now it's crunch time. I'll post any updates I get. Good luck with yours.

Good luck to you both, hope it all works out to your satisfaction!

We got our numbers back from the RAV team yesterday and was hoping to start the new lease conversation with the dealer sales manager today, but their systems are down from the CDK Global hack/outage situation. Will have to wait till that all gets worked out... Till then, still have a very nice loaner.

That said, all 3 of the Lincoln teams/departments have been exceptionally great to work with and their offers are appropriate and generous. The whole workflow went quicker than I expected and included proper updates and communication throughout.

I'm curious as to what the 4 issues were. Can you share that?

1) I have a bad vibration seen mainly in passenger seat at various speeds. Is now causing a rattle in that seat.
2) "Slip", "shudder", "clunk" type of feeling when accelerating from dead stop. Was told Friday this doesn't seem concerning to them. Doesn't feel normal to me.
3) Injector replacement. That went fine I assume. No problems before or after injector replacement.
4) Software updates due to continual reboots, gremlins. Was told Friday to "keep an eye on things and bring it back if I have problems".
5) Brakes. There is no fix as yet, but I have made it known that I don't like the fact my $68K car sounds like an old Chevy pickup.

I had a heart-to-heart with the service manager and a service "fixer" -- both recommend I see if things get worse before proceeding to next steps. My car was on it's best behavior Friday and some of the issues didn't show up or show up as bad as I have had up to then. I guess I will wait and see.

Actually, no, which I thought was a little strange.
Hi NCNautilus. Software updates should normally not wipe out stored profiles.

Of course, now that I said it out loud, the next software update will wipe out all profiles, and cause short term amnesia for all 2024 Nautilus owners. 🙃😂

Good luck. 🍻

Given some of the issues, I was not going to be surprised since repeatedly some have lost profiles.

That’s what we requested and were told that wasn’t an option. I’m very disappointed in Lincoln’s response to this problem! 900 miles and only two months of ownership. Frustrating process.
Just wanted to update…day 30, no update on parts. Filed the lemon law paperwork and hoping for a refund!
