2024 delivery schedule

Very good chance, I think. We have another user here that had a departure 3/14. This ship matches that, is headed to Portland, made a few stops in Korea first, which we see often. We've been surprised before, but this one does have a good chance.
Neptune Barcelona is scheduled to arrive at Portland berth 601 (Ford) on Thursday morning. That's a pretty cool name for your vehicle to travel on. Sounds sci-fi-ish.

Just so people understand, the car has some sort of work performed when it is in Portland. There is no discernible rhyme or reason why some cars take longer than others, at least from our viewpoint (maybe there is a reason or pattern but if there is we haven't figured it out).

My car took about 10 days to complete the work. Then it took about another week to get loaded onto a railcar. But @Lars5457 lives on the west coast of my state (which is only 2 hours farther driver from JAX) and he is getting his car a full month after mine (even though both of our vehicles were on the same ship).

Assuming that my car is on that ship and that I'll get very little information from my dealer, what additional updates will I see on the online Lincoln ordering tracking website?

As far as the major steps, you'll only see it change when it gets to the dealer. But you should watch the Last Updated field located below your VIN on the Vehicle Order Status page. It should have changed to on or near the date it is offloaded from the ship. It will update again the day they put it on rail. There's a few who saw updates occur before it left. For me, my next update (three weeks later) was the departure.

Note that it is our understanding the the every time the vehicle is physically scanned, the 'Last Updated' field changes. The vehicle is scanned every time it changes hands. Those are the events you can watch for; loaded onto rail car, change of rail carrier (if necessary), unloaded from rail car to hub, picked up by truck, delivery to dealer (usually same day).

Great information. Thanks for taking the time to outline all of that. Once it offloads from the ship, is 30 to 45 days a decent time estimate to me receiving it?

I think so. Mine was 5 weeks from offload to the dealer. (It then took me six days to get there.) And of all the people on this forum that were on that ship (a lot) mine was slower than most.

Good luck.

Looks like the car I am tracking which arrived in Portland on Mar 1 and initially had an estimated arrival date range to dealership between late March and early April now has an estimated arrival date of mid May. Sounds like something is really off in Portland.

can anyone determine what is happening from the info on this screen? Sorry about the bad resolution.

Unfortunately these are the delays I was warning you about, and it still may adjust further since it’s still in Portland. My car finally made it south of San Diego yesterday, it took 6 weeks (2/19-4/1) just to get to southern CA from Portland. Now I’m waiting on a truck to bring it back up to Orange County, 🙄 once all is said and done it will be 7-8 weeks from Portland to me if there are no further delays. I’m not sure anyone can explain the delays with 100% certainty other than shortages in transporting the cars.

12/18/2023 - I ordered my 2024 Nautilus Reserve 3 Hybrid Red Carpet w/Jet Appearance Package. DORA priority was 19.

3/29/2024 - Per dealer, the vehicle has been produced and is awaiting shipment. I haven't received any email updates from Lincoln unless I somehow missed them. I've been checking my Spam folder every day too. I decided to email my dealer today and was happy to hear it's awaiting shipment according to their system.
I ordered my Reserve III Hybrid Red Carpet on December 16 and I have been told mine is ready to ship also.

Just spoke to a dealer in Florida, where I spend about four months out of the year. They are being told to expect about an 80 day wait after vehicles arrive in Portland port. That kind of agrees with the vehicle I am tracking coming to Houston. I wonder if Ford knew the delays would be this bad when they went down this road of China to Portland.

Where in Florida? Curious which dealer you spoke to.
I'm in Ocala,FL and my dealer is worse than Joe Biden when it comes to knowing anything. He's been 2 days getting with his Lincoln Rep to figure out why my build continues to get moved back and why there is no VIN yet.

The dealership in Ft Myers. This is very bad for these Lincoln dealers. My rep in Houston mentioned someone wanted to see a Nautilus Reserve and they had nothing they could show him. They are waiting for cars same as those who special ordered.

I'm frustrated that Lincoln Concierge can't find my build anywhere in the system and my dealer can't find out anything. I'm ready to look for something else.

I sold my 9 month old Lexus NX 450h+ Luxury because of the 12V battery issues and the same crappy Infotainment system the Lincoln Nautilus has.

What did you order? Have you considered searching dealer inventory within 100 miles of you for similar configurations? The Lincoln website is very useful in this respect. The only issue I’ve found is that you can’t always distinguish between what’s in stock and what is in transit. But if you find a car you like, you can then go to that specific dealers website and it will sometimes tell you there whether the vehicle is in stock or in transit.

It does some like the unreasonable wait times we were seeing early this year have become longer, not shorter. Other than simple queuing delays, I wonder what could be driving this?

Canadian order UPDATE: it’s been a number of weeks since my last post. I’m still waiting 🤔 and somewhat frustrated on the speed of delivery. I recognize I’m located in a small city with one Lincoln/Ford dealer. At times this process has been laughable but I remain confident it won’t be too long to wait now.
Order: 4/19/23
Built: 11/24/23
Ship: 12/28/23
Port: 1/31/24
Rail: 3/1/24
My order has been sitting in rail yard (almost 5 weeks), with a projected arrival to dealer 4/1/24-4/7/24. Dealer tells me they have no control on delivery to their location. Yet I’m still hopeful!!
Today was a bonus day as I visited the dealer and they had 3- ICE models (sold dealer orders) in the showroom. I wasn’t able to drive any but was able to inspect closely for about 90 minutes. I must say my jaw still is dropped at the fit and finish on these Nautilus. I had the opportunity to play with the info system and seems a bit overwhelming. I have created a pre-delivery list of items that I will be sharing with dealer prior to me passing on my cheque to pay for it. My order will be the dealers first hybrid to come in and they are excited to finally receive it. I guess you can tell I’m hoping that the arrival is before the order date anniversary. My fingers are crossed!
Tim.

Hi Tim. I'm guessing you were referring to fit and finish positively.
I had my Aviator at the dealership for its first oil change and to have the winter tires swapped out. I had an opportunity to sit in the only Nautilus they had on the lot and noticed that where the dash meets the passenger door was misaligned. The door panel was a bit lower than the end of the dash. I must say that overall I was surprised with the rest of the vehicle although I only sat in the front. I was also impressed by the dash's 48 inch display and the ability to customize it.

Hi Peter. Yes indeed I was “positively” impressed with the quality I inspected and even though I’m still waiting on delivery, I am optimistic to see my order in person to compare.
During my inspection I even laid on the show room floor to check out under carriage elements. Coming from a 22 Corsair GT that has missing structural support for rear quarters behind the wheels. On the Nautilus it looked structurally sound in that area. One thing I noticed was the was the almost all of the underside of the vehicle covered in the same materials that is typically found in the wheel wells ( like a stiff outdoor carpeting). I assume this will aid in sound deadening among other things.
Sadly though. No change in my order status today but still hoping!!
Tim.
