I drew the SHORTEST straw ever! I didn’t believe my car was in So Cal and showing up at the dealer next week, even though that’s what I was being told. I discussed with my dealer my concerns about my car being stuck somewhere or something not being right. I requested/insisted they pull up the map so we can pinpoint exactly where the car is, rather than guess. I also wanted to be able to address a transit issue, if any, this week and not let another week go by. Well, lo and behold, I was right - my car has been traveling around the PNW for over 2 weeks!!! I think now they understand why I always asked for a map, even though I didn’t get it - because of this I received misinformation on the ETA each update, moving 1 week later every week. I had a 2-3 month cushion with my current leased car, but that’s been depleted with the latest delay, so I will be without a car for weeks, assuming my car doesn’t head to Florida first. Lesson learned, be persistent with your dealer for factual information about your car’s actual location, even if you know they think you’re a pain - in my case it was necessary and unfortunately I was correct that something wasn’t right - now to figure out the gap between my lease and Nautilus’s arrival.

It’s all a bit of a guessing game, and your input has been helpful and valued - so no worries! I asked for a screenshot again at the end of next week so I can ensure it doesn’t run off somewhere else, time to come home naughty Nautilus.

My car has been in Portland since 3/9, and the dealer told me that from the day the ship drops my car at the dock within 3 weeks I should have my vehicle it has been 2 weeks, and my car hasn't even moved at all. It is still in Portland after 2 weeks and when I ordered my car I was promised it would be here in February. So I am waiting 8 more days if I don't have my vehicle then RS Q8 it is. I already talked to the Audi Salesman and everything I already reserved it we are just waiting to see the Lincoln's ETA.

Don't be crying to much about wait. My vehicle was built 11/18, arrived in Portland 1/22, boarded railcar 2/8 went Tacoma then came back to Porland 2/10 and sat in-railcar while said railcar was being worked on until 3/6, then finally started its journey again 3/12. ETA is now 4/2. Talk about waiting!

I've kinda asked this question before, but now that these cars are on the ground, have you asked your dealer to locate your exact spec at another dealership? At $85K, you must be talking about a BL, and there just aren't many BL variables (drivetrain, colors, Jet Appearance). I learned about the '24 Nautilus when the press embargo was lifted last week. I test drove it that day, ordered it the next day, and my dealer swapped cars with another dealer for my exact spec within an hour. I'm under the impression there's a lot of these cars out there right now, but maybe I just got lucky. Dunno.

I can try asking but they didn't tell me anything like that. I got a call from my dealer today and they said it was delayed again to April 28 now.

No harm in asking. I'm sure that your dealer would prefer an immediate sale rather than risk you cancelling your order before the car arrives.

Ordered a Hybrid November 11, 2023. Recieved confirmation same day.
Vehicle is now on a rail car somewhere between KC and Jax.
No complaints on timing.

You'll have your car by month's end then. My car arrived in KC on 2/18 and arrived JAX on 2/24. Then I picked up car on 2/29.

1) I totally get everyone's frustration. Believe me, those of us tracking are tracking for a reason. I don't think the issue is how long it takes as much as the lousy level of communication by Lincoln and the dealers. Some dealers don't even know what Vinview is. That's a problem. Furthermore, Lincoln promised regular updates. It didn't fulfill that promise.

2) When you are looking at Vinview, there are multiple tabs. One of those tabs is the map you all are seeing. As @swindler has noted we have seen instances where the car's location on the map is suspect (as in it doesn't seem to be accurate). So the various tabs are "Trip Plan", "Updates", "Coordinates" and 5 other tabs. The tab you want besides the map is the "updates" tab. This tab has 4 columns "Event time", "Received time", "Update" and "Comments." When your car is departing by rail there will be TWO ENTRIES. One is "Vin Loaded on Railcar (ALR)." The second will be "Departed pickup -UP Portland Barn." At this juncture your car was been loaded on a rail and moved by BNSF. This doesn't mean it's on a train headed towards your destination but that it is on a car in the BNSF system. My car took 21 days from this status to my pickup.

Does anyone here know how long Lincoln's last how many miles til they stop working?

A temporary Mercedes? You must have really good income lol. Anyway no cars have expiration dates. You can expect 120-180k miles out of most anything. The 2.0EB used in the 24 nautilus is new, the eCVT is revised as well. There simply is t enough data out there to predict its longevity. Even the previous gen has t been around long enough to have any real idea.

181,253 miles. Really 181,252.6 but I rounded up.

Reading the folks tracking their vehicles reminds me of times gone by. You ordered a vehicle no info was sent email didn't exist, could not check location, internet didn't exist, texting didn't exist.
I was on good terms with my salesman I could go to dealer and they had a teletype dot matrix printer....lol he would get my info and print it out. Pretty much a heads up when it was getting scheduled week of.

Yep, exactly. I'm a big technology guy but sometimes we let it make us crazy. It reminds me of discussions in the various camping and RV forums. There's a consistent group of people that feels that a $700 Garmin RV GPS is a requirement and if you think that Google Maps is good enough, you're being irresponsible. I'm like, guys, you do realize that people have been driving large vehicles for decades before GPS technology was available, right?

I'm like, guys, you do realize that people have been driving large vehicles for decades before GPS technology was available, right?

Are those the same guys that have the satellite dish on the side of their RV?

Yup the first Vehicle we owned with Navigation was a 2008 Buick Enclave, have gone through several vehicles since. Currently we have 2023 Corsair and a 2023 Hybrid Maverick.

Mine was a 2007 dodge caliber R/T. I added the factory nav myself and instantly lost all my internal GPS skills. Used to drive several states over with nothing but a Mapquest print out or even hand written notes to find my final destination. Now I get turned around in my own town!

I remember when you could have AAA print out and build a flip-map of your route with the suggested path highlighted. That was actually pretty cool. Much better than using those gas station maps.

But that didn't last long. I'd developed GPS systems since 1983. I had equipment available to me ever since then. Of course, they only had about 5-6 satellites up back then. You'd get a few hours each day you could use it.

Silver Sky finally docked last night, but it docked at berth 607. It looks like another false alarm.

We've never seen Ford product dumped at any berth besides 601, but just to confirm that still hadn't happened, Silver Sky dropped vehicles for GM.

I don't see anything nearby interesting as of yet. As always, we can always match ships to VINView traces, providing a definitive ship to track.
