2024 delivery schedule

Why will I know? 😂😂

There is a pilot call to leave the berth at 1800 tomorrow. So they’ll have to unload before then.
I rest my case..😜

It looks like the GC departure got pushed back 24 hours. So the unloading may wait until Monday yet.

Looking ahead, I noticed that Grand Vision, which had a direct voyage from Shanghai to New Westminster, is scheduled to proceed to Portland afterwards (est.Wednesday). Given the delays encountered by GC, and the quick journey by GV, this could be the "two weeks later" next ship in line.

I was afraid of that based on the ports operating hours.

The interesting thing about the Grand Vision, which I mentioned about 5 pages ago, is that this shipment from Shanghai left after Tim Cooper's and yet will arrive before his. Also, it will pull into port only a couple days after ours unloads (assuming it makes it in by Wednesday night). It does fit perfectly in the every two weeks timeframe.

What's also interesting is that the Helios Ray is headed back to Portland.

This may have some explanation for the time taken. Again, pure speculation...contrary to popular opinion I'm not an oracle. I didn't realize Portland had ice and snow that basically shut everything down. Also no idea how this will impact the movement by rail later this week...but I think it's a Monday so there is an entire week...plus there are more ships inbound to Portland.

The next step is going to be railcar. There are some that are reporting their cars were on the Platinum Ray but are still sitting at the port as of last week. I plan to ask for a new VinView sometime next week.

the only good thing is that the long they delay the longer I have on my x-plan membership.

Just to get an idea of the travel time once cars get loaded to rail cars, I picked Chicago as that would be the closest location to me.

Sorry for not understanding, but what exactly does this mean? Total 8 days and 14 hours?
I’m assuming that is the number of days and hours for a freight train to travel from Terminal 6 in Portland to get to the Chicago rail yard.

I've gone through this thread - impressed with everyone's due diligence. I have not been able to determine what ship my Nautilus is on and am hoping the sleuths in this thread might be able to help out.

My order was placed on 9/23/2023
It was built on 12/19/2023
It was shipped on 1/15/2024

The assembly plant was Hangzhou.

I am in Vancouver -- so I was hoping there is a small chance it is on the Grand Vision, but it seems like I may have missed that ship. Thanks all!

My original order was built on 12-21. Marked shipped 1-7. It is still sitting in Shanghai and to date no window sticker.

Don't get people too excited @Khak4. Platinum Ray landed on 12/18, and the first wave of people reporting getting their Nautilus delivered was around 1/10-1/15? It's going to be a bit more than that train ride. It probably sits in a staging area a lot more than it rides on a rail car.

The good news is that I did notice that the Portland terminal has an autoramp, where vehicles can be directly loaded into autoracks on rail. That's why every vehicle imported to Portland uses berth 601 - not just Ford. But with this extra pile expected to come on Grand Vision (and don't forget all the Kias, Hyundais, Toyotas, GMs, etc using this same lot) who knows how quickly these will be sorted, loaded, and shipped?

I'm targeting 3-4 weeks, and praying not too much more.

Grand Vision sailed 1/6 PT, so that's a definite 'no'. The shipped date you have is when the vehicle was released from the factory in Hangzhou. It isn't related to the 'ship'. While it's possible that it was loaded and the ship sailed right after the 15th, it's more likely it'll be 1-2 weeks afterwards.

I don't see a ship that fits your situation, but there are better researchers than I.

One thing we've noticed is that the status date in the Vehicle Order Status page (the date below your VIN and order number) will change when the ship departs and when it lands. If it's still 1/15, we think it hasn't sailed yet

But if you've read the thread, you know the only definitive way to tell is to ask your dealer for a VINView screenshot. It will show you exactly where it is. Then the researchers can usually identify the ship pretty fast. You can do it as often as the dealer has patience, but I'd recommend next week.

My dealer has a BL now sitting in their showroom that a customer didnt purchase once it arrived. I'm going to check it out today, while mine sits in Portland. Will be my first time seeing the redesign in person.

7.1 earthquake in China today. Prob not near the factory but would you like your vehicle like James Bond’s martini……shaken not stirred lol

Does the Grand View have a load of Nautilus going to Tacoma?
