Who has submitted an order for the new 2024 Nautilus?

My hybrid. red carpet reserve III is in the U.S. and Im just waiting for it to get to dealer. It will be MSRP less any discounts from Ford. Military discount, Trade in 1000 discount, and Ford X plan so Im not sure what the final price will be
Ahh. You didn’t mention Xplan. If they will take it that right there is a good discount and would be just over invoice.

Agreed. My dealer doesn’t seem to be coming off msrp. I’ll do my best however once car reaches the dealer.
Join a club like Mustang Club of America. Wait 90 days. Get Xplan PIN number as a member benefit. If they will take it it’ll make a good difference.

Can you do that AFTER you've ordered or is it too late?

Can you do that AFTER you've ordered or is it too late?
You can join and get an Xplan pin after you ordered. The two are completely separate and not connected in any way. Problem and question is have you already agreed on price?
As a salesperson I can tell you with a new model like this there is a small gross profit and I actually will make more than a flat and a poke in the eye. If after I’ve agreed upon price a customer calls me all excited because they just got a plan price pin and think it’s gonna save them big I’ll bite my lip, not blow out their candle and still sell them the vehicle. It’s not their fault they wanted to save money or get the best deal possible.
For you it’ll just come down to your dealer and deal you’ve made. Chances are they’ll still sell it to you if you pop an Xplan pin on them.
Only one way to find out. You’ll probably make your salesperson cry but it’s the life we live. Just don’t wait till last minute and drop it on them. Call your salesperson and tell him you got an Xplan pin and want to make sure they will accept it. Worse they can do is say no.

Car will be at dealer way before the 90 day wait period.

I cited McA as it popped in my head. I know they make you wait 90 days. There are numerous other ways to get an Xplan PIN number. Ask your friends. If one of them works for a local utility company or similar they can probably get you one under ‘friends and family’. In some cases the company people work for is eligible. They just might not know it. Ask your HR dept.

You can get the pin anytime and use it when paying for the car. I just got my xplan pin last week.

So if my son works for a company that participates in ford xplan, he can get me a pin?

Bingo! My son’s company does have xplan. Now I just need the dealer to accept it. Thanks for the information as I never would have thought to pursue this approach!
One other option I've read about is Costco (believe it or not), if you have one nearby. Members at Costco can purchase vehicles (including Lincolns) at discounts — at participating dealers only. I've been told the formula is different than X-Plan, but the discount is very close. I think Costco works slightly better for cheaper vehicles and X-Plan slightly better for expensive. Regardless, for the price of a Costco membership you can get a reasonable discount. We've been members for years but never tried. I do not know if there's a blackout period after joining.

Ok. Do I have to live in the same household? Sorry for bothering you again.
When you generate a PIN, it specifically asks whether it's the member, family member in same household, family member outside household, or someone else outside household, IIRC.

X-Plan is a decent discount, I think you could negotiate better than the discount. Maybe not on a new vehicle coming out with the excitement of the Nautilus. But if you were say— buying a 2023 Nautilus, you'd be better off negotiating than using the X-Plan.

We are farrrrrrrrrrr below Xplan pricing on 23s now. Most are $8-10k off MSRP. Once our lot gets loaded up with 24s the older ‘outdated’ 23 Nautilus will become dead weight. Lincoln wants them GONE!
