I tried a couple times lolDoesn't really mean anything but got me excited. Might have caught the system during some upgrades/maintenance or maybe the car was actually on for a moment.
Normally it just says feature unavailable. That one time it went through he full 90 second timeout then said I do not have authority.I tried a couple times lol

I believe activation requires someone in the vehicle while running and accept the activation. Chances are the Stevedores moving cars won’t play with this stuff. The owners manual says you can try up to 10 times and if not activated will require the whole process over again.mine has said that w the 90 second circling
I saw on Fast and Furious #? that hackers can remotely break into every car in the city, start them up, and then drive them wherever they want, all at once — even off parking garages. Tim.
I’m not going to say I haven’t tried this !I saw on Fast and Furious #? that hackers can remotely break into every car in the city, start them up, and then drive them wherever they want, all at once — even off parking garages.
If you want to activate your Nautilus, you're gonna need someone like that.
I'm in the same situation as Tim. I asked my salesman for a private link to VINView so I could track the vehicle (which some have apparently obtained) — which he declined. But he did give me a screenshot map and detailed status.Nothing to report other than my order is still built and is sitting for three weeks now for it to change status! I called dealership yesterday and they couldn’t give me anymore information on progress other than to say it had been released and ready to ship. Either it’s is due to them bunching Canadian orders or due to my order is a hybrid. All speculation of course. I guess we shall see if anything moves next week.
Tim.
Only way for you to get access to VinView would be to get someone’s FMCDealer login and password which would then give you access based on their level to a lot of stuff customers normally don’t see. Nothing super secret squirrel but just dealer stuff.I'm in the same situation as Tim. I would have liked him to zoom in, but what I find curious is that it does appear to show the icon on the north side of Hangzhou Bay near the port (wherein the plant is on the south side). And the location status was "On the road" with a 'gate release' way back on the 28th. Again, officially it has not shipped. These disparate status screens continue to confound me.
I thought that sometime, somewhere, someone had said that their dealer gave them a link that let them just see their vehicle tracking. But it didn't require a login and the person couldn't see anything more behind the screen than just their own vehicle. But that might not have been true, and might not even had been VINView.Only way for you to get access to VinView would be to get someone’s FMCDealer login and password which would then give you access based on their level to a lot of stuff customers normally don’t see. VinView is actually kinda new. Less than a year old. To get to it one has to login into fmcdealer and once there use same login info to see the side of things where VinView is at. Not everyone who can get into fmcdealer can use it. Permission based doors basically that depend on one’s assigned role in the system.I thought that sometime, somewhere, someone had said that their dealer gave them a link that let them just see their vehicle tracking. This is an all new platform for 2024. and I expect the quality being built in China will be better do the the fact it's non union and they don't want to work in the rice fields , and I say this as a retired UAW worker.....no need to cancel...didn't concider one due to "made in China"......and now due the shortcomings of our '22 has further tainted my opinion of Lincoln
Yes someone here in the forums said this link would work where the link in the order screen was not that reliable.I was able to look mine up manually by inserting my VIN. The Lincoln order screen takes you to a broken link now. Thanks LARS5457
