The New Lincoln Continental Picture Thread

No DIY upgrades on my reserve... but after several years of ownership I like it more with each passing month. In today's pricey new car market with OEMs creating futuristic EV designs or low budget vehicles and charging a lot for them... or the sea of SUVS and pickups, the classic styling of this Continental, to me, becomes even better looking and more valuable. I'm still super impressed with the 2.7L twin turbo acceleration on the highways with 375 ft/lb torque. I love cruising in this car, but now only a few thousand miles from 50K. :(

I bought my 2017 Continental Reserve in Feb/21. Don't drive it much as I want to keep it as long as possible now that I'm retired. I feel the same as you. No new cars at all coming from the automakers that are appealing. Their a lot of high end Foreign cars that are nice, but the upkeep is expensive and don't offer the features this car has. I have the rear seat package, which I wouldn't have ordered because of the price $5000 CAN, but have enjoyed it on a trip when my wife drives. I wanted one of these since it came out but could not afford the price. At least I got one used when they weren't so popular. Now I've been contacted by the dealer a number of times asking to sell it back to them for more then I paid... No Thanks, I'll keep it because nothing is out there that matches it.

New to us 2019 Reserve. 3.0L AWD 20in rims, etc. etc. and so forth.

Has anyone watched Succession? One of the main characters, Kendall gets chauffeured around in a Coach Edition Conti. Besides a Rolls Royce Ghost, it's one of the few cars with Coach doors, so it looks very unique and posh for the Billionaire types. I've always wanted one, but don't have $200k lying around.

Yes, well spotted. To be fair, Maybachs and S-Classes got more air time. But you don't need $200K; more like $100K on the after-market now so treat yourself. When I was shopping for my Conti one of the dealers I visited had one but I decided I didn't need the back seat goodies or doors as I did not expect to spend any time there. But the style is superb.

Congrats! You scored a winner.
Thanks.

BTW, when we were looking at it we saw the backup camera was foggy. Since it is replaceable under the recall, I asked the salesman why the dealer had not replaced it already...especially since Ford pays for it? He responded, "We'll take care of that, sir."

I actually have most of the back seat goodies on my Conti. I don't have the champagne cooler, but I have the 3 zone climate controls, media controls, heated / cooled / massaging rear seats, seat controls (if the rear passengers need more leg room), etc. I looked at a few dealerships for the Coach door, and the cheapest I found it was $160k but that one is basically brand new.

The Conti in it’s natural habitat - in the service area.

Hello All, new to the Conti family! Picked up a 2020 reserve with all the options! Been a fan since the first rendering and finally made the jump! Will be taking it to the dealer tomorrow for a check up and likely an extended warranty! Still has a few weeks on the full factory warranty too!

Thanks MarkX! Really enjoying the Conti and even getting some bumper to bumper fixes taken care of next week before the factory warranty runs out!

Traded 23 Aviator for a 20 Continental Black Label. What a car!
