MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

You can't be far behind. I was 2 weeks ahead of the date Lincoln gave
According to my salesman, the vehicle is in Montreal and shipping/delivery is usually done within a week, He also mentioned $3000 in rebates etc.
I believe $1000 off delivery and $2000 for the extra delay due to the camera. Will confirm that once it arrives.

Peter, Mine still has not arrived at the dealer, but I completed all financing and insurance paperwork this week. Yes, you are correct about those rebates. $1000 off, and then ?2000 because of the delay. I was not expecting that as I had not been on this form for a week or so. So yeah, three grand off was a pleasant surprise. Today was the last day of the arrival estimate Lincoln gave me, so hopefully I’ll be getting a call soon, saying mine is here. To recap: I ordered it on March 9, was meant to go into production on April 20, and, like everyone else, was completely stalled because of the camera issue. It shipped on September 8.
Good luck to everyone. I’ll keep you posted.

This is the first I’m hearing about there being a possible rebate. $3000 would be great, but I haven’t heard anything about it. This may be a stupid to ask but this would be for everyone right? Not just certain customers?

Well I am certainly not a VIP at my dealership. In fact, since I ordered my vehicle in March, the only time I heard anything from my dealer was the two times I called for an update. And he’s no longer even with the dealership, so I’m now dealing with his boss. His boss did not seem to know about the rebate until he went and looked up available incentives when coming up with my payment plan and discovered the two rebates. That said, it may be for people who waited a longer time than initially projected? I’m not sure.

I believe it applies to those who placed an order prior to July 1st.

Interesting, something to keep in mind and ask my dealer at least. Thanks for the info!

With the union strike now including the Chicago plant, I am assuming that those of us that are still waiting for ours are now going to wait even longer. This is brutal

Hi All, I picked up my Aviator yesterday afternoon. My thought when the dealer was seated beside me telling me how things worked, was "this is the nicest car I have ever sat in." I know the wait has been tedious, but I have to tell you IT IS WORTH IT!! Hang in there, Everyone!

Oh also, my dealer said they'd only gotten in three so far of the ones people have ordered. Mine was the first one leaving the lot.

Mine is at the dealer now waiting for final prep. MRSP $86,360. Selling price $78,340.
Net lease total is $74,424 which includes the admin fee and wheel locks. Also in the net total was a $1,000 delivery allowance and $2,000 for delivery delay plus $1,500 for Lincoln lease renewal.

I'm happy to see people's orders are arriving. Our order from Feb 8 is still listed as "in production" since Mar 29 and has an unrepaired recall associated with the VIN. I'm not sure how to explain the order of things. Our dealer is now giving us an ETA of mid-November but has no way to get concrete information. He did, at least, confirm of an expected discount of $3000 off MSRP. My wife is getting antsy and wants us to go buy one of the shiny new 2024 MDXs or XT6s sitting on the lots in town for less money...

Retail units are also showing up at dealers. You should maybe think about seeking out one in stock similar to or same as your order.

That's true. Among the Aviators available on the lot is one with a blend date five months after our order, which is highly irritating! The issue for us is my wife really prefers the true black leather interior, which seems to only come on more basic trims. However, she wants some specific upgrades, which only seem to show up with the beige or dark brown leather. Hence the reason for our special order in the first place. So, we'd have to either give up some options or go with a colour she doesn't like or another brand altogether.

FWIW, my wife hates most "colored" interiors. We've always gone for the light gray option (if it was an option) on most of our previous cars.
She HATED the "New Saddle" on the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland I got as a 3rd vehicle.

But since it was "my car" she tolerated it.
My Volvo (our volvo...) has "Maroon Brown" which is close to the Roast in my (our) Lincoln
And she has grown to tolerate it, but not love it.

My Lincoln

Since it was SO CLOSE to our Volvo, that she already had gotten accustomed to, she tolerated it no issues. Plus I LOVE the Engine Turned Aluminum trim, only available with the Roast (only on GT???)

I believe it is a universal rebate (Canada/US) for delayed delivery. It is apparently for those who ordered before July 1st, 2023.
