2023 Corsair orders, build dates

It's far too dark; to call it blue is highly misleading. On days I'm really annoyed at being taken in by pictures that indicated blue and much lighter, I derisively call it confederate gray.

Don't misunderstand though, for what it is, it's not bad, might even have been my choice of what was available; it's just they needed to be seen on person and I believe most of the pictures either were 2923 colors or intentionally misleading to emphasize the blue over gray.

We were torn between the Whisper and the Crystal Red but one of us was afraid it would be too red, I was afraid it's be ti dark and too much like our 2011 MKZ maroon.

This car is definitely GRAY, NOT BLUE. And no, I don't agree it looks better in person.

The Chrystal Red is much browner than what was depicted in the pictures. The pictures and website show it as a very dark red but definitely red. In real life it is best described as dark chestnut. I am disappointed in that it is not as reddish as I was expecting, but I do like it.

At least when ordering the '22, there was a color sheet available for each of the available colors...and they match the actual painted color - in our case Ocean Drive Blue.

Idk I’ve seen the whisper blue in person. I like it. Yes it is something like a combination of light blue and maybe light grey. It’s different. Maybe that’s why I like it. Lots of others seem to like it also. I have the intense white and although it’s easy to keep cleaner than dark colors, everyone seems to have the white one 😢 lol

Uh Oh.....we have the same exact specs GT you ordered and was told it was finally built on 6/22. No word on a shipping date. I wanted Pristine White/Eternal Red interior, my wife picked the Crystal Red/Truffle interior based on pictures. Happy Wife, Happy Life so Crystal Red/Truffle interior it is. I think if it comes in brown-ish she's gonna blow a gasket....she hates brown cars!

Hmmm. I hope yet to see a Crystal Red in the wild though I expect to keep our Whisper Blue.

As you describe I'd probably like that the Crystal Red was different from our maroon(?) MKZ but not sure if I'd like in an absolute sense.

Hey, it's just money. Who says we have to keep for 14+ years like we did with the Mariner. It's very nice but maybe trade in a year or two.

I got the Dealer text this morning that said BTW your Corsair just showed up. Couldn't have happened at worse time scheduling wise. I told them I'll see you next Tuesday.

I have a pretty good idea where my Aviator is. It is likely among the 20,000+ vehicles parked at the Chicago Speedway awaiting the 360 camera recall fix which likely won't be until September. :(

Well, just received the phone call from my dealership my Corsair has been delivered. Unfortunately, my sales guy won't be in town until Thursday. I have been waiting since September 2022, I can wait another week.
