2023 Corsair orders, build dates

hopefully next week, even with the holiday? Actually, for us a little more time is a good thing. We're still trying to figure out what to do with my wife's current ride. I doubt that our dealer will give us a decent trade on a 2019 Tucson Ultimate. And I'm not going to get involved with a private buyer I don't know? Carmax and Carvana have given me offers. We shall see??

I just noticed I have the only order for Red Carpet paint color. I was confirmed on 1/19/23 and have not received anything except 2 confirmations. It is a GT with pkg3 and 24 way seats. I wonder if the Red Carpet paint color is the issue?

I have yet to observe any logic to the build order. Based on your dates, I don't know that I would stress about the color being an issue. But, you might try some national searches (i.e. Cars.com) and see if any of that color are in the wild.

Same for me. It seems like all GT takes forever to be built. I've been waiting for 6 months now... no VIN, no news no anything. Seems nobody knows or don't want to tell us why.

ljnelson109 - good suggestion. I often check the cars.com, but had not in the last couple of weeks. I see a few "reds" but have not found the Red Carpet yet. Many still to go and check.

Oh.. I forgot to mention my color is blue, that's why I don't think it's color related
 
My GT was built in April ( ordered last September) and I keep getting the emails from Lincoln every 2 weeks changing my shipping date. Now with the recall on the engine and a good chance it also has the blue screen camera problem I decided to deny that car when it finally does ship and now ordered a new reserve instead. I just don’t want a car that has been sitting for 2 months already and will continue to sit longer until they find these fixes. Supposedly cars being built now don’t have the camera issue. I will try a GT in a couple years when this engine issue is resolved.
 
Renae913, I am pretty sure the 2023 does not have the blue screen camera issue as it uses Sync 4. I have checked a number of 2023 vins on the Ford and NHSA web site and have not found the camera recall.

The engine problem appears to be affecting your car. From a Ford recall article - "The luxed-up Corsair is listed in the document below, with production dates ranging from October 2019 to May 2023." This would cover your GT. I agree that you should pass on it.

Finally took delivery of my GT last Friday. Package shelf and lug nuts were missing, and the front license plate bracket came with no screws. The dealer also tried to screw me with some BS paint protection product I didn't want, but we ultimately got to terms.

Drove it quite a bit over the weekend, and we're overall very happy with the car. Can't get PAAK working, yet, but will call the concierge about that, if it doesn't clear-up very soon.

I couldn't wait, I had to go to the dealership to have a peek.... The interior does appear to be tan-ish... Not a deal breaker for me, I've waited too dang long to drive this thing. I can hardly contain myself!
