My wife purchased a 2023 Aviator in Sept 2022 (writing now July 2023) that has these same symptoms - blue smoke on cold engine startup - more pronounced after sitting for a day or two.6000 miles on 2022 Aviator. Blues smoke from exhaust after sitting that goes away after a few seconds. The longer it sits the more smoke bit it usually sits for a day. Dealer is changing the oil and said they will go from there. This doesnt seem like a solution to me. I am not accepting this as a solution. It is embarrassing to start up a 73k and blue smoke pours out!
Thanks for the response! Has it resolved or still smoking?I had a 2020 which did same. Dealer couldn’t identify source. I have seen others on this Forum with same issue. I drove 20,000 miles after noticing and never had an issue.

Having reported mine doesn't have the issue that I've noticed, I will try remote starting it to see for sure.I've never noticed it, but since I have a PHEV, I'm NEVER around the back when it is "Started" typically IF the engine starts, it is pulling away from some intersection after being miles from home. (Unless I start off in Excite, well, because it is there), but still, can't remote start the ICE when outside to see the exhaust anyway.
Thank you!! Very disappointing!!Welcome to the Forum Riley.
I have a 2020 and have never noticed that issue.
This same issue has also been reported with the Explorer ST on the Explorer and the Explorer ST forums. Several posts mentioned it was fixed by replacing the driver's side turbo.

Update - they have called Lincoln tech support because the tech is stumped as to where the smoke is coming from.Same issue. This is the fourth time in the shop. They did change the turbo out because I brought it in for smoke, but it continued after the repair. It’s been in the shop for four weeks now. They were finally able to replicate the smoke so they’ve seen it outside of my videos.
