We are a luxury vehicle family and this easily slides right into that category for us. The redesign on the third row compared to the previous generation is amazing- so much room for adults. Seat massage is great, ActiveGlide is magical, everything is great. The only thing we can't figure out yet is when using cruise control, it's fine but as soon as the speed limit changes, the cruise control auto adjusts to the new speed and hits the brakes. It's odd but I'm sure it's just a setting that I need to figure out.Wow, finally, huh???
Give us the report? What's better, what's worse, how's it feel?
Worth the wait as I had said?We are a luxury vehicle family and this easily slides right into that category for us. Overall, extremely impressed with this rig.
There was never a question of it being "worth" anything. It's a great vehicle hands down. My issue with the timing had to do with my previous vehicle and desperately needing to get out of it.Worth the wait as I had said?
please let us know when you figure that out - that'll drive me batshiit!the cruise control auto adjusts to the new speed and hits the brakes

Number 1, def sounds like an issue, I'd report it.Anyone who has take delivery, a few questions-
1. Have you had issues with a window rolling back up? My front passenger window rolls up 3/4 of the way, bounces back down all the way like an obstacle is present, then I have to roll it up again. Sometimes I have to hit the roll up bottom 4x+ and sometimes it goes up with one request.
2. Ive been using my same key since taking delivery. I changed the child alarm when turning the engine off so I don’t get alerted every single time I turn the engine off. I also turned off the feature that I think is called “easy entry” or something like that- it pushes the steering wheel up and back and scoots the seat back for easy entry and exit. Things were okay until today when both features re-engaged for no reason.
3. I feel like I’m having a bit of a hard downshift series when approaching stoplights.
Anyone else?

I appreciate your thorough and detailed reply. I’ll try the window reset and see what happens.Hi Tcrowe. I'll try me best on your questions:
1. If you want to attempt some self-help, there is a window bounce-back reset procedure outlined in the Owners Manual. You can either try the bounce-back relearn procedure, or have it addressed by the Service Department when you have the Easy Entry/Exit feature looked at (see below).
2. I'm not familiar with the "child alarm". Took a quick look at the 2022 Navigator Owners Manual and could not find any information on it. , At least not under terms like "Child Alarm", "Back Seat Sensors" etc. So I can't offer much help on that at the moment, other than guessing.
However, the Easy Entry/Exit seat feature should hold the chosen enabled/disabled setting. So I would have that checked on your next service visit.
3. Lincoln advises in the Owners Manual that there can be some firm/harsh shifting until the Adaptive Learning function of the transmission learns your driving habits. I forget how long they state it can take, but off the top of my head, I would give it at least the first 500-1,000 miles. If you still feel something is amiss, have it addressed on your next service visit.
Keep us updated and good luck.
I have #1 on my 2019. The behavior is what happens when it thinks there is an obstruction and is called "bounce back" in the manual. When it bounces back down immediately hold it up and it will go up. Apparently it is a common Ford problem. My service advisor knew exactly what it was. There is a way to "reset" to programming with a few button presses which she did. That fixed it for a few days and then it was back. In my case I have just learned to live with it. It is annoying for sure and certainly not what you expect from a 90k vehicle. I know I should probably have them fix it for good but it is just one of those things I did not want the hassle of continuing to take back for service.Anyone who has take delivery, a few questions-

Nice! Kamikaze is great stuff. and great to hear about pristine white!
I've got some brand new winters for my X5 that I've never put on, so I think I'm going to coat them with CarPro Dlux before I have them put on this year. That pretty hydrophobic and it can take heat so we'll see on that. If it works I think I'll try it on the 'Gator wheels (but a harder job since they'll be on the car).
Overall I've been maintaining my wheels with Brake Buster and N-914 and then I coat them with TW Seal-n-Shine since it's more chemical resistant and easy to apply. Overall that's been working out pretty good with no swirls, but there is some light micro-marring which I suppose can't be helped. The 'Gators all-black wheels (if they're actually delivered that way!) seem kinda scary for swirls ...
PPFing the trim / gloss black stuff might not be a bad idea ... I got the SEP for better or worse but I still don't know if I'll actually get it.
anyway, pics or it didn't happen!
Very nice! I'm still not sure I want to use a durable coating as I prefer to wash frequently and apply a less durable coating as a drying aide, but if I did, I would probably go with the Kami ISM so you have me thinking about it ... how did the application process go? Any troubles with high spots?![]()

recap on what we did the last couple weekends. got lucky with the hurricane with the southern shift so i spent hurricane days in the garage.
Driving on the freeway today, my Sync system completely crashed and rebooted. Very strange but if it happens again, I'll bring it into the dealership. Also, my iPhone get so hot when using the wireless charging that my phone will display a message after about 30 minutes saying charging will resume after my phone returns to a normal temperature.

I don't have the 2022+ with the ActiveGlide, but I wonder if there are settings for it like there are for my Autopilot in the Tesla. In the Tesla you can choose to make your Cruise Control speed either be absolute or relative. If you set it to absolute, then it will maintain your programmed speed regardless of the posted speed limit. If you set it to relative, you can make it +/- a variation from the posted speed limit. So if you set it to +5mph it will adapt and take the posted speed limit and add 5mph to it as it changes. Does the ActiveGlide have different options like that, for example? We are a luxury vehicle family and this easily slides right into that category for us.
