2022 Navigator

Could any 22 owners who have received delivery comment on the drive quality and has it improved in comparison to a 18-21 you owned before? Has the system been changed, upgraded and improved or is it marketing?

The suspension and ride with the forward looking is much better IMO.
 
Weren’t you in production? I went into production last Thursday but it seems to have stalled out. I wonder if they are making sure if doesn’t catch fire…
Nope, never in production. I have been bumped out three times.
 
Hey all. Ready to take delivery of my 22 BL next week. For those of you who have already gotten yours, wondering if those flashing lights on the dash have been an annoyance? I assume they are there to watch your eyes while driving hands free. Are they always on? Just watched a YouTube video of a test drive and it looks like they were flashing the whole time.

They are not noticeable. They show up in videos that you may have seen. You will not notice them unless you look right at them, and then they are very dim.
 
Anyone that has taken delivery, order the black onyx/roast? If so mind sharing a picture or two? I can’t seem to find any pictures on line.

I'm happy you're vehicle is being built but I can't help but be extremely frustrated with my order. I ordered 10/23 (priority code 2) and was scheduled for 6/13, then 6/28, and now 7/13. No clue what my hold up is but I'm losing patience.

It is a mystery and I can understand the frustration. Hang in there. Believe me, this 2022 is worth the wait.
 
Welp, after 5 months, just heard from my dealer today that my order for a BL L SE was rejected. WTF? 5 months for that?

wooaahhhhh how can they reject an order after it's already been assigned to you and a deposit was made?
 
I received two emails yesterday. First one said my car had been built and then a couple hours later, second email said that it had been shipped. Expected delivery week of June 17th. A friend has expected delivery June 10 but just received and email pushing it to July 28-Aug 3rd. Her email said “to ensure complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your vehicle is delivered”. So weird. It’s already labeled as built.

@2021Navigator I dunno ... my dealer said he was going to try to re-submit the order w.o the SE package and it should go through, but I haven't heard back so no idea on if / when / priority, etc

Backup plan is the Denali XL Ultimate!

Bummer because the 'Gator was going to be my first Ford Product ... all of their marketing worked, I love it and everything about it, but this is ... under delivering. I'll hold my fire until I hear back from the dealer. Hopefully they get it all worked out in a reasonable way.

The other thing is, maybe wait for 2023 order next month, but I'm guessing those will be Jan deliveries at the earliest and given this experience, right now, I'm not too inclined to give Ford my trust.

But it's just a car, though would've been nice to get the "we ran out of chocolate, but we can give you vanilla"; the "sorry, rejected" doesn't seem very black labely.

Yes, that does seem very strange for the order to have been placed for so long and now just out of the blue, oh ya its canceled.

Someone had to totally drop the ball on this one.

The Yukon was actually our second choice when were looking for a large vehicle, but at that time we wanted a bench seat and it wasn't available for another few months. Another aspect that we were not 100% thrilled with was the Yukon's requirement to always use premium fuel at least with the navigator its not a requirement, but rather your choice.

I hope your dealer can figure something out, but with all the constrains it sounds like your going to be starting all over, maybe with a 2023 unless they can find one on another's dealers lot that meets your requirements.
