Hi Stymied. No, not necessarily. It is only saying what it says, which is that no new production was scheduled for that particular vehicle for the build week of 3/7.

Every week, future production scheduling is performed. So what that shows, is that for the week of 3/7, no scheduling and/or new scheduling was performed for that particular vehicle. The reasons for that can be many.

I no longer have a production date. I received an email on Feb 25th that my production week was May 2nd, I logged in today and it only said my order has been placed and my vehicle will be scheduled for the earliest available date. How lovely.

Well, at this rate, I may have to cancel and just get a 2023 and my rig is getting expedited. Anything past August and I think I'll just reorder a 23'. We are not in a crazy push, so it's not a huge deal. And this is totally NOT Ford/Lincoln's fault, so not throwing shade. It's just the situation we are in right now, so no sense in getting pi$$3d, right. Just take it in stride and be thankful when we start creeping back towards normal. Good luck all

Did you get another email tonight pushing your date out? I got one tonight that pushed back to week of May 16, was May 9, April before that.

Just got my email pushing to May. I ordered October 19th. I’m going to be 8months order to receiving the car.
If one shows up on a lot somewhere spec’s the way I want I’ll grab it.
This IS Ford’s fault. They are manufacturing cars to be marked above MSRP at dealers while people who ordered one wait 8 months.

Yep. Got the email tonight and so did a friend of mine, both of our’s pushed to May 16th.

CNBC:
Ford Motor is once again cutting production of highly profitable trucks and SUVs due to an ongoing global shortage of semiconductor chips that has wreaked havoc on the automotive industry for more than a year.

Ford on Thursday confirmed production downtime next week for Ford Super Duty pickups and Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs at a plant in Kentucky and medium-duty trucks and chassis cabs at a plant in Ohio.
