2022 Navigator

New to the forum here. Just recently (last weekend) ordered my first ever Lincoln product (Navigator). Originally had an order for a Grand Wagoneer but long wait times and continual problems/issues being reported along with the lack of a premium feel from dealership and customer service led me to cancel 3 months into the process. I do understand that the wait times are long here too until they start going to full production. I noticed some referencing tracking of the vehicle. How do I get plugged into this or is it even worth it due to inaccuracy of dates reported?
There will be a link in the email from Lincoln that has your VIN and estimated production week.

It is somewhere under your settings when you hover you click on your username at the top right of the site. There are some things that require a minimum number of posts to do, but I don't think that is one of them.

Edit: Click on your username, it is right there at bottom left when you do so.

Ordered Mid January. Just got the email with VIN and production date of 9 May. If that production date stands, when can one expect completion?
Can someone post the link to plug my vin number in to track the vehicle!
Thanks

Hi Kooky. Double check your the email, to see whether it states 5/9 is the production day or the production week?

At this point in time (over 2 months ahead of production time) it would be unusual to have a specific production date (day). This early, it is usually a production week, with the specific day to be determined later.

Whatever your eventual/final production day, you can assume it was produced that day.

Good luck.

You are correct it says production "week" 9 May. Thanks for the info, so assuming starting sometime that week, what kind of timeline, if any, would one might expect completion of the vehicle?

Hi Kooky. You will receive a specific production date (calendar day) later. Hopefully, that production date will not be pushed back due to parts/commodity shortages etc.

A simplified explanation: Generally speaking, it takes one day to produce the vehicle on the assembly line. Unless of course, a vehicle begins production towards the end of a day, then it would usually be finished the next day.

Hope you get yours as soon as possible.

Good luck.

I no longer have a production date. I received an email on Feb 25th that my production week was May 2nd, I logged in today and it only said my order has been placed and my vehicle will be scheduled for the earliest available date. How lovely. 🙃

At this pace Lincoln should have just called the 2022 the 2023 because I feel like by the time I take delivery it’ll almost be 2023.

What a mess.

i didnt think the dealer was serious when he said 4-5 months for delivery. Based on these threads, I guess I was wrong

Another email from Lincoln, another schedule change. Out to the week of April 11 from the week of the 4th.
I actually just got an update that bumped my production date from 3/28 to 3/14. After 5 delays, this is great news - if it holds. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞.

Could be my choices. I'm also not sure there is any rhyme or reason. I hope it holds, too. Then, we can all start getting excited that they'll actually build them.

I think production is picking up to full "go" and we should start seeing normal wait times

The press event videos are starting to release.
Ha. No “late availability” entertainment system in the Black Label. Great review, thanks for posting. One new feature I wasn’t aware of is the stereo speaker above driver and passenger seats. I don’t have that in my ‘19 Reserve. May just be a black label option or new for ‘22?

No scheduling for the second week in a row

The truck now has an optional 28 speaker system that's opt on reserve trim. According to the few reviews, it's better than the current 20 spkr unit.
