Voice Command Not Working

I noticed that my 2025 Aviator loaner definitely has a different software version than my Nautilus. When I asked the aviator to “Play Sirius …”, it worked but the response was slightly different to what I am used to in the Nautilus. The response was immediate and started with “Streaming <station name> on SiriusXM.

On the Nautilus I am used to the system saying “asking SiriusXM to play …” or something to that effect.

Update.
The vehicle was at the dealer for three days. They had a hard time getting the updates to work but they finally got everything updated. No joy! This issue of the voice commands failing to execute the comprehended (verified with feedback) audio commands correctly continues. My SA was very frustrated. The ball is now back in Lincolns court.
Ugh!
Mine is at the dealer and so far, not working. The advisor is telling me iTunes isn't supported and trying to find a work around. I told her I just plugged it into the Nautilus I traded and it worked fine. I've been using the same files in every Ford/Lincoln I've owned over the past 15 years without any issues.

My dealer wasn't able to fix mine. They said they tried to use voice in 2 other 25 Aviators and they wouldn't work either. He said they tried several ways to format and still no. Lincoln apparently couldn't provide a solution either. Had I known this, I might have kept my Nautilus.

We are experiencing different issues with voice commands.

Sometimes it has ignored voice but seems to hear it. In regards to navigation, if my android is attached, I can use voice but notice there a message displayed that it is using the bluetooth connected device (that is my phone) for voice. Since the wife was driving under her profile, I turned off bluetooth and initially it ignored commands but did see text as I spoke. I have also received the feedback about cannot give personal results as if the permissions were not set. Eventually it started working. I need more time to do a proper experiment.

In our vehicle, we have 2 profiles but tied to my google account.

hopefully the 1Q'25 OTA infotainment update will fix this and the other bugs.

I believe having 2 devices, in car and phone, trying to co exist is asking for possible issues with software incompatibility as each code stream evolves together and independently.

I recently changed all my app permissions in the car. I disabled Alexa, android auto and revoked google assistant permissions 100% (I only use Siri) and overall system performance has improved. Also the odd music volume issues where the volume raises/lowers after a system prompt seem to be mostly resolved. I also don't have to worry about accidentally triggering the Google assistant if I don't long press the voice assistant button.

Thanks for the tip. Curious, how do you make changes to temperature and other car settings? Does the car respond to Siri requests to "set AC temperature to 70 degrees?

I have never used voice control for any settings.. never will. I just use the climate control buttons at the bottom of the display. Apple carplay does not have any vehicle level permissions so you cant adjust climate control through Siri.
