I got a new update. The big change is climate controls - bigger buttons. Bars seat heat/cool look bolder. I do like the single or dual temp mode is easier to change.

Phone settings screen seems different so easier to turn on/off android auto.

I got a new update. The big change is climate controls so far I have noticed.
People generally seem to not like the controls change on FB.

Given our '25 R2 is just starting to get OTA that '24 owners saw in early April, we might get that for Christmas 😀

I got it last night as well according to my app. I haven't made it over to the parking garage yet to check it out.

Also peek-a-boo I see you!

Also press and hold knob no longer works to reboot.
It is the new 5x in 7 secs method to reboot since the first thing i did was reboot. It was a fast download and update so maybe that has been one of under the hood updates.

Was this PHX-25.1.2.4 or another one?

My 25 Reserve was updated yesterday with the software update 11 and I see no change to the vents screen. The 10 second press reset still works the same as before.

I don't think Software 11 describes the specific update. I think it's a 'platform' update, but each module will have a different impact to you vehicle. What is the module update recorded?

The first "11" update was the gateway update and this was an APIM update. I believe the new widgets was rolled out for those that did not have them from the TSB. This is the first time I think an APIM update has been OTA so speculating that the first update was preparing it for the second update (all speculation).

Has anyone noticed a difference with the way Blue Cruise behaves with this update? My car will now move over when vehicle other than tractor trailers are next to me. Think larger pick up trucks and vans. Also, the steering seems a tad more aggressive. I use Blue Cruise daily on my 64 mile round trip to work and it seems to hold the lane better on a couple of curves at the speed I set. Before the update, it felt like the car was a step behind and would over correct.

I wonder if this update included a +.1 or +.2 update of BlueCruise? Daily drivers like you would be the most likely to notice.

On our '25 R2 we got the ECG-25.2.8.4.1 SW Update 11 - Central Computer today.

I wonder if that means we'll get the SW Update 11 - Center Touch Screen soon.

IMHO:

Really like the new HVAC UI update. Better and simpler layout overall. The "Tab" outlining is visual helpful. The seat heat/cool display is larger, bolder and has click sounds to let you know when each level change is accepted and when you get to the end, the bars disappear! The Recirculate "button" is now easier to find and use - we also figured out how to use Google voice to turn Recirculate On and Off: Hey Google, Turn Recirculate On ; Hey Google, Turn Fresh Air On! Both work well and allow hands/eyes free quick change, especially when you see construction types of dust on the road ahead.

On the Blue Cruise front: it does appear to have brought some changes with it. 2.5 hour drive today on two Interstates (77 & 20) got more dropouts from hands free to hands on, then back to hands free - no road construction, lane markers, or detours in any of them. More lane ping-ponging at random times. The lane shift did seem to be engaging more often (good thing) when an oversized vehicle is on the right.

Bottomline, great move forward from Lincoln Engineering Software team. Funny though, I never get the updates at home (when connected to our WiFi), they always update while traveling and overnight away from home.... just an observation.

I got the update during a drive and said it would be installed at 10pm (my designated time) but selected install now. It took 10 to 15 min. The drive was short.

I'm very happy with the UI update for the reasons described above. Also noticed the drive mode screen is much more responsive. Noticed that Blue Cruise offered lane change availability more often, and a new message along the lines of 'apply light pressure to the steering wheel' in non-cruise driving. I wouldn't describe my experience with lane shift with trucks, etc as ping ponging - mine is smooth and pretty unobtrusive.

I had my standard set of random post-software update glitches until I did a reboot - one of the mirrors didn't auto unfold after the first park. None of the streaming Sirius stations were available (error message). Blue Cruise stopped working and threw a lane keeping system error. The interior lights wouldn't shut off. Everything worked swimmingly after the reboot and opening the driver's door. Should it work that way, probably not. But it's an easy resolution that works consistently for me.

I noticed the Blue Cruise changes yesterday when I got the “Apply Light Steering, keep hands on the steering wheel” message. That’s the first time I’ve seen that message in 16k+ miles.

Regarding the AC control changes, I believe it now requires an extra click to set the vent modes of On Body, Off Body or oscillating.

Sorry for any confusion as I did merge the two topics unintentionally... The ping ponging was just in general and not associated with the lane shifting. The lane shifting experience continues to get better and a big value to my wife who likes not being stressed out being so close to the semi's and larger vehicles.

Question. I too got the latest UI update. The notice mentions

"Managing your radio presets is now simpler and more
intuitive, making it easier to add or remove your favorite stations."

Mine were pretty easy before the update. Now they don't respond at all. Anyone tried deleting or moving a preset left or right.

FYI, I did a reset twice and no improvement
