I saw this TSB this morning, although I can't claim that we ever had the issue. While the every popular APIM is the culprit, they mention the GWM and TCU need to be checked as well.
This affects the 2024-2025 Nautilus, as well as 2025 Aviators and Explorers built before 7/20/25.
Issue: Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit at least one of the following conditions:
• Poor speaker sound quality (static, pop, crackle) while using Bluetooth audio
• Poor outbound phone call sound quality while using Bluetooth
This may be due to the APIM software.
Action: For vehicles that meet all of the criteria in the Issue and Model statements, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the APIM.
