touch screen black

I’ve had this happen on my 2020 aviator also. Sitting with it parked, I could get nothing to work like turning it off and on again or getting out of the car and back in. But I called the dealer and he suggested a reboot of the APIM. That means hold down the radio ON button, while also holding down the SEEK FORWARD button. Hold them down for a little while and the thing will reboot and the display will come back. I’m assuming it’s the same on the Corsair. That instruction was also hidden in the owners manual under the diagnostics for a SYNC. I don’t know why this happens, but this at least is how to get out of it.
This literally just happened to me. Found your post and it worked! Thanks so much for sharing!

Well, it doesn't work on my 2019 MKZ.
Battery went dead, had it jumped, and charged. Tried holding the ON button and Seek Forward button at least 10 times. Nothing! Screen is still Black. Lincoln dealer too busy. Said to bring it back in 2 weeks. Never heard of the hold button procedure.
What do I do next?
Did you ever get it working? My 2018 has been black for 2 days

Thank you so much for sharing!! I was stressing this morning when I left for work and my screen was black. I did the power button and the seek forward and it rebooted and everything came back up like it should. This was a stress saver this morning. Thanks again!

This also worked on my 2021 navigator! Thank you so much I was so confused

Did you ever find a solution for the problem or did you bring it in for the dealer to fix? Just happened to me after I jump started the car also and dealer is telling me next appt is in a month😫 Mad annoying with no radio or rear camera😡

Just fixed it myself by disconnecting the battery in the trunk and what this guy said here. Waited about 10-15 mins after disconnecting and now everything is back to normal😬

Sure would be easier to follow along in a thread and respond to people if you would all actually login and not post as "guests".
