• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1998 Town Car" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1998 Town Car" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Welcome

First, get comfortable with the layout of the forum.
Mingle with others and have or create conversation .
Don't be in a rush. Many get frustrated not getting an answer to an issue/problem right away.
We all have lives to attend to and cannot rush back to the keyboard right away.
Have Patience.

When creating a thread to discuss an issue/problem remember the 5 W's
WHO
WHAT
Where
When
Why

These 5 things can help you describe the problem/issue and develop your thread enough for other members to understand well and get you responses quicker
Do not write out a Journal describing a problem/issue. If it is too long people tend to ignore it or only read just a bit.

Punctuation and spelling help. Do not combine sentences, keep things spaced and easy to read
Be very descriptive and give out as much detail as possible. IF you have video post it.

Having issues posting? Try uploading it to Youtube then paste the video link in the thread you created here.

Can't figure something out then ask. Many here are glad to help
We all have the same goal to enjoy and maintain our Lincolns.

We are not all Master Mechanics but have been with our Lincolns a long time that we can offer up good advice.

Browse around introduce yourself and welcome to the family!

If you have a repair issue, post in a forum that other repair issues are posted. Not a forum about sales or an informational only threads.

Do create a new thread for your scenario, Resist posting in someone else's thread for a concern you think is similar.

Do not create two different threads for the same scenario. This does not create greater visibility for you. It causes problems with answers. (Which thread should the answer be posted?) And generally, clogs up the website.

Action

AdBlocking warnings. I can't seem to clear these warnings. I have whitelisted lincoln forums, turned off adblockers, turned off vpn. No luck. When viewing posts in older lincoln forums, I dialog totally unrelated to title subject of the post. Also unable to use search feature. Windows 10 operating system. Any way I can stop this? Thank you.
