2022 Corsair
Our 22 corsair is having connectivity issues with apple carplay. We've replaced the cord and the phone but it seems that the usb plug could be the issue. Before asking the dealer to replace are there any updates i should look into?

Blue tooth doesnt seem to allow the microphone in the car to work as it defaults to the phone. The speakers work flawlessly.

As a side note i have apple car play in a chevy colorado and i have some of the same issues. Its a challenge.

Thanks!

Try downloading cyanlabs syn3 updater. Its free and youll be able to update your SYNC 3 navigation system. Once on the latest update, check the USB ports in your vehicle for any debris, and make sure nothing is bent or broken.

Also, if you are having the same issues in another vehicle...have you tried making sure youre using a genuine Apple Cable? Have you physically tried cleaning the phone's port with a dry toothbrush to avoid damaging the pins? Those are some of the things I would do first.

^^This^^ I have to clean out my charging port at every 6 months or so due to pocket lint. I use a toothpick gently to lift the fuzz and compressed air from a can to blow it out (you would think a port cap would be a popular item)
