Sync 4 Now Giving Me Pairing Phone Choices

I'm trying to get my android phone to pair. Sync 4 was saying to find your vehicle in the bluetooth list and select it to pair, as Sync keeps dropping it. All of a sudden my phone is first offering the choice to pair with Lincoln Sync. There's nothing about that in the owner's manual.
Anyone else have this issue, and if so, any suggestions?

Hi 427 Cobrajet. Yes, sync your phone to that choice. Then follow the prompts on your vehicle SYNC screen and phone.

When you use the Lincoln Sync option, can you send a text message by voice command using the button on the steering wheel?

UPDATE:
After the dealer having the vehicle for a week, they finally did a "hard reset" on the sync 4 system. I sat with the electronics tech and paired my phone using the my vehicle in the bluetooth pair list. It works fine now but still will not send a new text by using the voice command button on the steering wheel. He has no idea why it won't work and said he will send a notification to Ford and let me know what they say. He also told me a Sync 4 update and possibly an upgrade is due prior to year end.
Unfortunately it still surges and has inconsistent shifting under medium to hard acceleration. It may be time to say goodbye to this vehicle after only 11 months.
